One the nicest hotel we've stayed in recently, The hotel is in a beautiful setting. It had been snowing and we had to come down for work. It was neatly decorated with Christmas decor. We took pictures by the Christmas tree. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and cozy. We were on the 4 th floor and the view with the snow was awesome. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The staff at the bar were very friendly and polite. Everything was laid back and peaceful. Breakfast was good and had a variety of things to choose from. I loved the vanilla waffle mix. Housekeeping was very helpful and friendly. They got in and got the job done. We have mo complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again. Best hotel I'm Green River. read more

5 Stars!!! Lived the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic my room was...I had a suite with my wife and two wonderful puppies. First floor and close to the pet area. After a long day trip on I-80, this place was exactly what I needed to rest. Breakfast was great. Maybe a few more options like bacon or bagels would be good. The waffle station did get crowded. Maybe that could be looked into. The hotel itself was wonderful. I would return to the area as green river the town was lovely. I took my pups for a walk on the main road near a historic park before hitting the road again. The scenery behind the hotel was riveting. For someone with no expectations, I was so happy....oh and of course, the room was clean and super nice! I would love to make a job out of inspecting this hotel chain. Green River would set the standard for me! read more

Pros: Staff was very nice, breakfast, dinner, clean, safe, parking lot nice size, also room for large trucks pulling trailers. Cons: Tv/satellite cut in and out every few seconds. We did report it and was told the lower floors were working and there was a storm that knocked it out. We could not cool down the room at night. It was after 10pm, when we found it would not cool down so maint was gone. I reported it to the front desk in the morning. I would think we would have received some sort discount. I was itchy all night. Thinking it was their soap and or lotion. We were on the second floor where we could hear walking around on and off thru out the night from the third floor. My husband nor I did not sleep well. Every table whether it was in our room or breakfast area had cards asking for tips using a code thru a smart phone. I think it is a bit much considering how much they charge to stay there. For $200 for one night it was not worth it. We will not stay at this property again. read more

Great little place right before your reach Salt Lake. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good. They are really the last name brand before you get into Salt Lake City. You do have to make some turns to get on and off the interstate but it's not hard. It was really simple to get back on the road the next morning. It was also quite. I had no issues with finding a parking spot also. read more

Masks? We don't need no stink'n masks said the front desk staff checking us in. No, they did not really say that but they were definitely no wearing masks if that matters to you. I would of thought with the recent COVID-19 surges they would want to if not for their guests safety their own safety. It does make you wonder how much weight should be given to the cleanliness seal on your room door if they are not even greeting you with a mask. How was the room you ask? On a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being I rather sleep in the car to a 5 being better than home this was a solid #2 (better than sleeping in the car). Now if you have an RV it would definitely be toss up. The room door allowed enough light into room under the door to act like a strong night light. The hotel is just close enough to the highway to hear the drone of semi trucks passing by in the middle of the night. Anyways it is what it is...a stop on your way to where you are going read more

Great Hotel! Beautiful clean BIG comfortable rooms. Wonderful bed! Comfy couch. Microwave, mini fridge wet bar sink, coffee maker in kitchen area. Tub/shower. We had a room facing out back overlooking the rock formations that they light up in the evening and it was beautiful. The whole hotel is pet friendly, not a limited number of rooms. They have complimentary breakfast but also a complimentary dinner during the weekdays. We had ham, salad, mac'n cheese and cookies foe dessert. Love this hotel! read more

Stopped here overnight during a long road trip- room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was perfect for families and the kids enjoyed the pool. My only complaint is that only one elevator was operational, so there was quite a wait at some points during our stay. I would stay here again if we ever pass through Green River again. read more

BEWARE!!! Seriously, make sure you are in the right state, as there is a Green River, Utah and this is in Wyoming. I can't believe I did this, but the website led me to Wyoming, when I was searching for a room and I booked it thinking it was in Utah. As soon as I discovered my mistake (mid-afternoon on the day of booking), I called the hotel for assistance. They refused to help. I called their corporate offices, and they called the hotel directly as well, asking them to cancel the reservation. They refused. The corporate support individual was extremely apologetic, and said that they *could* cancel the reservation but are choosing not to. I attempted to dispute the charge (something I've never done in my life), and they (Kim) gave misleading information to the credit card company and the charge stood. So this was a disappointing experience, with cash out of my pocket for nothing--seems like a poor business strategy, and makes me want to stay away from all Hamptons since this is the type of empathy they show people. I understand that they may have been within their right to do it, and acknowledge my mistake, but it seems like since I'm an out of state person they don't care if I would return or not. read more

First off, good luck finding this hotel if you don't have GPS in your car or on your phone, or alternatively, excellent, clear directions beforehand. Although clearly visible from the highway, figuring out how to get to it EVEN AFTER SEEING IT FROM THE ROADWAY is quite the challenge. That said, the hotel itself is quite nice. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, very spacious, and fully updated. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent--above average for hotels nowadays. The one minus for our stay: Although there are COVID safety indicators placed throughout the hotel (where to stand markers, sanitary wipes, hand sanitizer), zero effort was actually made to make sure that staff and guests did the right thing. The hotel staff members did NOT wear masks during our stay, and very, very few of the guests did either. read more

Very nice property in a gorgeous Wyoming setting. The rooms are spacious, modern & well maintained. Comfy bed and pillows. Plenty of room in the bathroom to move around & lay out your stuff. One star removed, because even though there are signs everywhere about what they are doing to keep the place safe & clean due to Covid, no staff are masked & ditto for most of the guests. This while the Delta variant surges & the rate of transmission here is very high. So, wear your mask, wash your hands & stay in your room. read more

Giving this a one star because I booked it using points semi last minute when i80 construction slowed my trip down a few hours. I was able to book the room and had a room assigned to me. Got a call as I was exiting the highway, about to go into my room and sleep.. Call says computer is glitched and they have no rooms for me. I checked the app and it shows a room assigned. I call back and ask if someone else is stating in that room. They said no, the maids just "didn't get around to cleaning it". Guess hotel didn't want to pay them over time to get the job done or something. Anyhow, not what I expect from a Hilton property. Won't stay here on future trips through this area if you can't trust their database to be accurate or rooms to be clean. read more

Perfect in every way. I use this hotel as my midway point between Las Vegas, and Spearfish, SD. Why i'm writing this review is I wanted to thank whomever I dealt with on my way back this time with my cancellation. Normally you cant un- reserve a hotel with less than 24 hours to go without payment penalty, but due to I-80 in Cheyenne WY getting snowed out, and highway closed this became an issue for me. The associate I dealt with did exactly that. Allow me to cancel without penalty because I couldn't get there. Thank you. read more

While the checkin staff were great and were masked, the mask requirement was never enforced and about half of the arrivals did not wear any masks even though the checkin desk gave masks away for free. I asked the manager on duty about this and she said the staff are not allowed to enforce the mask "requirement". So this is a Hampton Inn problem and I encourage travelers to avoid all HAMPTON INNs With Wyoming relaxing their mask mandate, would avoid WY in general until the pandemic is over read more

We spent four hours driving to get to a hotel that has a company discount that my company has handed out to its team members and there family, the manager out of the gate was rude and when I asked if the room was eligible for the discount after we discussed the room and the price the price of the room went from 199 to 299 without her looking at the computer she refused to look up the discount and tried telling me we didn't have a company discount so we left and spent money at the mustang motel the that was only five minutes in town closer to restaurants and more respectful customer service read more

THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE STATE HEALTH ORDER ON COVID-19. Walked in to check in for our reservation. Signs everywhere saying we care about your health. NONE of the staff are wearing any kind of face covering and they're not requiring others to do either. Left us feeling zero confidence in our wellbeing there during these scary times of a pandemic that's killing people. Get it together folks. We had been on the road for 8 days, a different hotel every night, across SD & WY. When we arrived here after a long day of driving, the only room left was a king suite. It was absolutely gorgeous! Spacious, clean, nicely designed and decorated. The front desk clerk had lived in Green River her whole life. She was so kind and helpful and gave us a great rate on the suite, not to mention an excellent restaurant suggestion for dinner that night. I was confused about the deposit I was told it was to cover snack items as well and I could charge the items to that deposit. We have stayed at lots of Hamptons and this is one of my favorites. When you first walk in you are met with a friendly staff and a clean open space. They allowed the indoor pool to be open to one family at a time for one hour time slots. This was so nice, my kids loved being able to finally use a pool! The rooms are extremely clean and bright. You can tell that the rooms are heavily disinterested and smelled clean and refreshing. Breakfast was amazing! Kirsten was the wonderful lady that made it special! She was extremely catering and friendly! The food was spot on! By far, the best breakfast at any Hampton I have stayed at! Job well done to the managers and staff! Hopefully we will be back again! A shining star in a sea of mediocrity! After staying in so many mediocre to prro hotels recently, Hampton Inn and Suites in Green River, WY is a blessed oasis. The property sits in a stark, severely beautiful corner below stunning sandstone rock formations just outside of town. Not quite an on/off hop from the interstate, its location is perfect for a quiet stop while passing thorugh, or for a long-term stay. The staff is friendly, the facilities clean and well cared-for, and the staff is friendly. The beds were very comfortable, all of the amenities were clean and fully functional, and the breakfast was above-average. The hotel is very pet friendly, with plenty of dog-walking space available. I recently had an unplanned opportunity to stay at the Hampton Inn in Green River, WY. The people at the front desk were friendly, the room was clean & spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. Basically, it's a pretty darn nice hotel. And it's in a pretty nice location too. The only hiccup during my overnight stay was when the gentleman in the room next to mine decided that 8pm on a Sunday night (in a Hampton Inn ... in Green River, Wyoming) was a good time to practice playing his cello. That's not a euphemism for anything. Actual cello playing ensued. And I assume he was a gentleman. I mean, he was playing a cello, after all. I can't fault the hotel for a random cello incident. In fact, the nice lady at the front desk placed a call to the room and politely got the one-man musical soliloquy to stop. But I feel compelled to deduct one star from my rating due to the thinness of the walls. All in all, it was a good place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. read more

When our bike broke down we were stuck in Green River and since we always like to stay at the Hampton chain we checked to see if they had availability they did and kindly checked us in. The room was different and had some sort of plaster on the wall where maybe someone knocked a whole through and they repaired. Maybe they never heard of paint. There was a shower and no bath. Weird since Hampton's usually always have tubs. We decided to go to the pool and hit the hot tub. No such luck, the hot tub was not working. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. There was eggs and potatoes but no meat. No bacon, no sausage pattys, no bueno. Ok no problem I will have waffle. WAIT someone asked an employee about the waffles and they said they are out of batter.....its only 7:30 how can you be out. So ok I will settle for the eggs. I ate them and they were cold I took one bite and left them because I don't mind warm food but not cold. I then proceeded to go to the front desk and get me a breakfast to go....they didn't have any. OK I give up. They were kind enough to ask if we needed help because of the bike and said they will hold a room for us. We didn't need one and moved on to our next stop of Casper Wyoming. read more

Really nice Hampton Inn. Beautiful location near The Wild Horse Loop. Everything was very clean and looked fairly new. To our surprise, they offered a free dinner with a bar Monday thru Thursday. It was really good, as was the breakfast. This was a great place to stay on a cross-country road trip! read more

I've stayed here before and I remember it being fine. I'm not sure if they haven't replaced any of the beds since that last stay a few years ago or what. The beds were horrible. Hard as a rock and they squeaked loudly every time someone moved. We had other family also staying here the same weekend and they all complained about the beds as well. For Green River, it is a nice place. Just don't expect a good nights sleep. read more
