From an American perspective alone, we were disappointed with Sandwich Street Kitchen. It's in a popular area with a few outdoor tables and a small indoor area. The service is nice and accommodating, but the food was wasn't very appetizing. We ordered breakfast sandwiches, which were piled high with undercooked bacon and sausages. Wonderful welcome and service. Cute little place. I had the biscoff pancakes, and it was beautifully plated! The biscoff sauce was delicious--exactly the right flavor. But the pancakes were dense and dry. They needed more sauce. They were served with maple syrup on the side, but the maple syrup completely overcame the biscoff sauce. So that was just confusing. The hashbrowns were not worth it. There was a nice ball of butter served on top of the pancakes, but the butter just stayed in s ball on top instead of melting and running down the pancakes. And working the butter around would have been impossible on the little plate... My friend was not impressed with her meal either. Honestly I think it is more of a 3.5 the service was actually a low light the waiter knocked my fork off the and never brought a replacement despite tossing it. Nice little cafe on the street corner with delicious food. It's almost like a cross between a Parisian cafe and an American diner! I had the Falloumi wrap. Delicious even for meat lovers.
