    English Breakfast
    Kasey P.

The small quaint little place had the perfect cozy feel for our last morning in London. I wanted an English breakfast before we flew back home and theirs hit the spot. Despite being busy we didn't have to wait. Our waiter was polite and nice and the food was delicious. If we go back we will definitely keep this place in mind.

Came here thanks to a request from a friend and definitely didn't leave disappointed! The space is small and quaint - I was seated pretty quickly, but service after that was the only thing that I think needed improvement since it took a while to place my order and grab the bill. Food came out pretty fast though. Menu had a good selection of dishes for brunch. The All American was extremely filling and I could barely finish it - definitely only get it if you wanna be stuffed. The coffee was solid as well, I enjoyed my latte and thought it was plenty strong. Overall, reasonably priced and delicious. Thanks, The Breakfast Club!

All right! You guys know how I get down! I'm not sparing any place! And this place is no different! First of all, once we entered, the host stated that they would get us a table and it was actually busy that day. I can say that as a "tourist", the host was very respectable and had an honest eye about him. We waited outside for maybe 10-15 minutes until let it. Once inside, can say the server didn't appear to want to be taking orders that day. It happens. Folks have an off day. The only issue I had was that she forgot my water and a cup of ice, which I had to ask another server for. That's always a rule I try my best not to break ( never bother another server that's not yours unless it's a necessary). But I had to, it took too long after my other guests got their drinks. I honestly felt there was tension between us. Not sure if it was international related or just a bad day. But I'm still alive from the non-verbal encounter. The atmosphere was great though. Folks talking and enjoying their meal. It was nice. The All American meal wasn't bad at all. The pancakes did not seem to be original recipe. Trust me, if you know then you know! But I kept it pushing. The table had no issue with the food. For this, The hype that instagram was giving it and what was received, I gave this place what I gave it. This was an honest review and not holding anything back. They Definitly have room to grow.

A great place to get traditional breakfasts in a quaint home style restaurant. The Breakfast Club has everything from English breakfast favorites to pancakes and Benedicts. I had the basic poached eggs, toast with beans and bacon. Worth coming to if you just want a no-nonsense heart meal to start the day.

Loved the world famous pancakes. Definitely order it with extra syrup on the side!! Extremely amazing Benedict sauce. I had some of it brought out to put on my salmon, eggs and spinach.

Excellent food! We didn't have a reservation but we were able to get served at the bar. The eggs Benedict was delicious and my husband had the chicken, egg, and waffle with gravy. Different but good! The mimosa was light and refreshing. I'd never had it with grapefruit juice before but it was good! The staff were friendly and kind.

Full English breakfast minus the black pudding 'cuz I'm not eating that one .

Ordered the English breakfast for the first time, and probably last. Not really too impressed by this classic English breakfast. So the English breakfast is an assortment of many things, mostly carb driven ; we're talking carbs upon carbs upon carbs. So the English breakfast consists of the following : two pieces of toast, grape vine tomatoes , mushrooms probably cooked over a skillet, crispy hash triangles, bacon, sausage , scrambled eggs. Now there's one item I omitted because I substituted it with what I told the waiter , anything else. And that is black pudding. And no, this isn't a sweet dish. It's a beloved British side item found commonly at breakfast, but once you know how it's made, you're gonna either gonna puke or order someone else. If you're curious , do ask about it though . You would think tho might be served in china, but the Brits, c'mon , you can do better! But if you're feeling adventurous and not immediately turned off, by all means, dig in. It just won't be with me!!! The food was just okay. Kinda bland. The scrambled eggs were the highlight. You can get your days calories in one sitting. A good deal once you factor this in.

Food was very good! Service was friendly as well. I loved the hash browns and the smoked salmon scramble. All the eggs were perfectly cooked. Very cozy ambience.

I honestly expected better. The place is small but cozy. I got the veggie spoon and I did not enjoy it. The tofu scramble was pasty and had a strange flavor. The tomatoes were raw despite the menu saying they come roasted, veggie sausage lacked flavor, and the beans were hard. The only thing I truly enjoyed on the plate were the potatoes, mushrooms and the spinach. Service was good and I have no complaints there.

We were recommended this breakfast place by a local and Hallelujah because it was amazing, I wanted to eat more but was so full. The staff are friendly and on top of service. We ordered the Huevos Ranchers (YUM)w/added chorizo and the blueberry pancakes with eggs, bacon and hash browns. Our favorites was the Huevos and hasbrowns. May even go back tomorrow morning to eat the same thing! Also priced were very reasonable! So far best breakfast we have had in london!

We wanted the full English Breakfast experience, Black pudding included, and this place delivered. The space is small, so be prepared to wait, but the food is worth it. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and fun. It had a great upbeat morning vibe with delicious food and strong coffee.

It's very much classic diner when you enter. Staff smiles & greets you. It's small but a cozy kind of small. We ordered the apple juice, mint tea & a flat white to start. The apple juice was very fresh, still had pulp. The mint tea was also fresh & very soothing. The Flat white was exactly how it should be. For breakfast- I ordered the American breakfast with eggs scrambled hard. I've realized that the flour they use for their meals creates a much denser bread. The pancakes were very hard to eat & the eggs were even harder. However, the bacon was bacon & the potatoes had the most flavor. We also had the French toast, bacon, eggs/ cheese & potatoes. The toast was dense, but tasted better than the pancakes. We didn't get past one bite of the eggs. Overall I wouldn't come back, except to grab a coffee. The staff was very nice though!

I wanted something with at least one good veggie option, they wanted something with meat, and it had to be somewhere in-between Camden and Canary Wharf, not too pricey, and ideally close to the city because otherwise our Italian friend probably wouldn't make it. And lo and behold.... THE FAT BEAR!!! It was all we wanted and more! This place is sort of tucked away and up some stairs above a pub. It's really just a room and a half, which makes it super cozy and they have a pretty awesome looking bar. It's got warm lighting which makes the atmosphere really nice. Their cocktails were delightful and the service was excellent. I will make a very strange observation that someone working there had a very drunk friend who just sort of made herself at home. Then more joined and it turned into me watching this table of really really drunk people trying to order food. Two of them ended up just falling asleep. It was super strange. Anyway, me being distracted aside, I really loved the cocktail I ordered- Sloe Boat To China, and everyone else seemed happy with theirs. I was dying to try the pimiento cheese starter and the fried pickles. The cheese was particularly sharp and delicious. The pickles were good, but quite skinny (I mean come on, you're in an American restaurant I was expecting some serious pickles). The vegan gumbo was super spicy and delicious. I was impressed and enjoyed it. My husband dropped the ball and ordered the regular jambalaya (with sausage) rather than the seafood one which broke my heart a little bit, because I really wanted to try it. You know, I guess that means we'll just have to come back. Oh also another bonus, this place has brisket which is really hard to find. I can't say how it tastes but my friend said he defo approves (am I becoming more British with these words, or just more annoying?) Anyway, to finish it off I had the oreo cheesecake which the bomb. I love oreos. And it tasted like oreo. So all was right with the world. A wonderful place to come if you have people who want to try American food, or if you have out of town Americans who are too scared to try other food, or if you have hungry friends that want to try cajun food, or if you just want to try some really yummy food.

Baby back ribs: not necessarily fall of the bone type of ribs, but if you give it a good tug , some of the meats will slide off its axis. I enjoyed it for what it's worth. Obviously, the smoker is limited in scope , so I'm not expecting Texas style quality. Was a little chewy in some places, but also tender in others. Had a preference for the chiptole bbq sauce rather than the hickory. Fries were mostly good (minus the tiny bits). So close to the meats, the fries absorbed some of the smokiness flavor. Slaw: low-point of the bbq. They used way, way, too much dressing. Like it was flooded. Also the cabbage wasn't cut finely, but presented as whole chunk slices. Would definitely not recommend this one. Overall minus the slaw, I enjoyed Bodean's
