I had to yell for him to play our exit song during the ceremony. Unfortunately, the day before the wedding at rehearsal, we were suddenly told they would need to set up on the dance floor--something we hadn't been informed of and didn't have space for. They also ignored the playlist we had provided, which was frustrating since we spent time carefully putting it together. He played songs we had never even heard before. When asked to play songs he didn't play them. For the rehearsal dinner, I gave them a printed order of songs and the walking order (a month in advance, as requested), but nothing was followed. I also provided a script for the events that were supposed to take place, but instead of reading it, the DJ made offhand and unserious comments. I was in communication with him and provided a printed copy for him the day of the wedding. I had a list of table numbers for him to call to release for dinner. He kept calling the same table numbers. He never tried hyping up the crowd. We also hired him because he said he was bilingual and he didn't speak Spanish at reception as requested or make any of the announcements we had documented for him. Overall, the lack of organization and failure to follow through on clear instructions made this service very disappointing.

None of the chairs have obvious stains, the floors aren't sticky or dirty, and the bathrooms are spotless. The chairs are comfortable and the theater we were in had the volume at a good level and isn't freezing cold. The employees are wonderful. We had a cashier and the General Manager assisting us and both were friendly and helpful. The popcorn is the best movie theater popcorn we've ever had. It was a nice surprise. The best part is that, unlike other theaters nearby, this one didn't have twenty minutes of ads before the trailers. That meant the movie started at a normal time. We live near a couple of those large chain cinemas, but this is where we'll be going from now on. This theater also has movies for $5 all day and night on Tuesdays. 10/10 recommend.

While purchasing 11 tickets, John appeared frustrated by the number of customers waiting in line. During our transaction he made a comment saying "These people are holding up the line" it was clear the comment was directed at my family while we were actively purchasing our tickets. As paying customers, we should not be made to feel like an inconvenience for buying tickets. The comment was unprofessional, embarrassing, and took away from what was supposed to be an enjoyable outing. I understand theaters get busy, but managers should demonstrate patience and professionalism, especially during peak times. If long lines are an issue, additional staffing or opening another register would be a better solution than making customers feel responsible for delays. I hope Sandy Cinema addresses this concern and improves its customer service standards moving forward.

Miss Anna Frankus and her husband Paul Frankus have invested their lives in operating their dance studio. I appreciate being involved in a dance studio that is committed to making sure that all their music is appropriate and costumes are modest for all ages. Miss Anna spends countless hours choosing music and costumes for each and every dance class. Sandy School of Dance expects the best out of every student but, does not expect perfection. The Spring Dance Concert is always fun to watch. I love watching the little ones as they are just learning to dance before an audience, to the more experienced dancers who are able to showcase their skills. I have loved seeing many dancers improve over the years into confident and talented dancers.

However, they have a pageant featuring a princess or Queen in each age group, carnival rides for the kids, and other events throughout the week. However, if you aren't directly involved in the community of Sandy, the vendors are the big draw. It's exactly what it sounds like an old fashion community fair!
