Thankfully, it moved quickly, and we were inside before we knew it. Now, we weren't able to find anywhere to sit, that was probably the toughest part. But we lucked out and grabbed a lone bench tucked off to the side, and honestly, it worked out fine. There were a lot of people there (holiday crowd, of course), but the weather was perfect, the energy was fun, and we ended up having a really great time.

The kiddie area was nasty and had nobody at all watching for their safety. There was a 4 inch pipe sticking out of the ground waiting for a serious accident. The were fire ant hills all over there unkept grass. We were there for a birthday party for $200 for 2 hours for your party, but they neglect to tell you 10 other parties would be there also! I've never been so disappointed. I do not recommend this water park at all, I would have given in a 1/2 start if I could.

It felt really good to get out and see so many people enjoying themselves. Families were swimming, grilling, eating good food, and just spending quality time together. I also loved seeing so many people out on the walking trail getting their exercise on just like I was. This was actually my first time back at the park since 2025, and I forgot how beautiful it is. Being out there reminded me how important it is to get outside, move around, and enjoy life. Next week, I plan on coming back to go swimming at the Spivey Recreation Center, and I'm looking forward to it. Clayton County International Park is truly a beautiful park.
