The stadium has a great soccer vibe, and the unpadded plastic seats are comfortable enough to enjoy the game for a few hours. There are plenty of snack and drink options, though be prepared for the typical stadium prices that are on the high side. If you're flexible, waiting for last-minute seats can sometimes score you a bargain, which is always nice. The stadium does have some accessibility challenges for ADA and wheelchair users. There's only one place to store mobility scooters, so if your seats are on the opposite side of the stadium, it can be quite a trek. It definitely helps to have someone with you. I had to ride and drop my mom's scooter when the two of us went to a Real Salt Lake game last summer, which was a bit cumbersome but still manageable with planning. The stadium is well laid out and there isn't a truly terribly seat in the whole venue. It's designed perfectly so it's easy in and easy out, and I have zero complaints about the game day experience over the years. The team store is terrific as well, with tons of great merchandise if you need to get outfitted as a fan. While the name is now pretty generic and boring, America First Field is a solid spot for MLS soccer. It captures that local soccer energy perfectly, and I always have a great time cheering on Real Salt Lake despite the minor accessibility hurdles and pricey concessions.

My daughter begs to come everyday so we are frequents! I would expect my daughter to enjoy the park outside so much that she forgets about the library altogether but that's just how awesome it is! They decided to treat all of the adults that pay to live here for amenities like children and shut down the amenities with no date of when we can expect to be open. All the while, we have experienced having no hot water for several weeks/days over the year, stolen packages regularly, internet outages, garage doors not working regularly, disgusting carpet hallways, a virtual golf center that hasn't worked half the time, and little to no community events. Don't move here if you care about being treated like an adult or value paying for amenities.

These apartments were not fit for human habitation. Excuse after excuse has been made about why the problem has persisted and laws have been broken for our safety and sanitation. Since I've been here the elevator has broken down three times for multiple days at a time. The electricity was out as well as the hot water for an entire day. Communication has been confusing during these times as well. I would not suggest moving here if you want maintained living and basic necessities. The security door doesn't lock correctly while entering one side of the building and there is no service on your phone when picking up packages (which you need to open you email for the lockers). If the WiFi is out your key fob won't work to enter the building, and the app to unlock doors is not guaranteed. As this building is very aesthetically nice I will have to see I have seen a lot of issues in a very short amount of time. NO COMPENSATION WAS GIVEN TO ANY RESIDENTS WHILE BASIC NEEDS WERE NOT MET. This has got to be one of the worst USPS locations in Salt Lake City. The customer service was…read moreincredibly frustrating and unhelpful from start to finish. I came in needing to ship a package and was told they wouldn't print a shipping label for me. The employee directed me somewhere else to get it printed, so I ended up driving around the valley only to find out that the place she sent me to couldn't help me either. After finally getting the label printed and driving all the way back, I was then told that I needed to have the package completely taped and sealed before they would accept it. I asked if I could simply use some tape to close the package, and was told I had to purchase an entire roll. They are all fat and lazy so I guess I shouldn't expect much.

To start, South Jordan City Hall has a unique location, nestled right next door to The Pie Pizzeria and in the Towne Center complex, which is chock-full of eateries and convenient local businesses. Going into the City Hall -- which was open some 16 years ago -- one thing strikes me: IT'S QUIET. This isn't your bustling City Hall with lawyers scurrying around and dress shows clomping on the hard floors. Quiet. Stunningly quiet. Probably the quietest, emptiest "business" in the Towne Center. Maybe that's the vibe they're going for. It by no means is a place that either says or infers to "stay out" but, man, it's quiet. All that quiet means plenty of high-quality customer service. Their informative staff has plenty of info at the ready about the city and upcoming events (and an insider's knowledge you may not get just looking at their Web site). And it's actually very easy to get a meeting with a councilmember or the Mayor, if the necessity strikes. Maybe quiet City Halls are the way things are now, be that we have everything online ... and the necessity to deal with some utility bill dispute can be handled with an e-mail or getting a planning blueprint can be imported via PDF online. Hell, I licensed my small business without leaving my couch. South Jordan has so many top flight facilities -- a Community Center, a Fitness & Aquatics Center, a golf course, and an abundance of trails and parks. No wonder things are so quiet in here ... everybody's out using all the facilities and places South Jordan has to offer!

The South Jordan Town Center is just what it should be-local businesses, a library, restaurants,…read moreshopping and city hall. It's not only a place that people come when they are hungry or running an errand, this place holds events occasionally too. The Farmer's Market is here in the summer and it's a fun, festive destination in the winter to see the twinkling lights and decorated store windows. The parking can get a little tricky if you want to park right outside the place you are visiting. But if you are willing to walk a little, there are plenty of spots just north and south of the main center area. My favorite part? The outdoor seating in the middle. Grab a snack and then sit at a table on a nice day and joy the shade of the trees.

This is one of the more interesting developments in the southern part of the SLC valley. You could argue that it's a strip mall of sorts, but that doesn't quite do justice to what's going on here. They're trying to be more thoughtful by creating community spaces, and when there's a library involved, you know it's not exactly a standard retail plaza. The thing that I appreciate most is that there's an effort (surely someone on staff?) to create events. I've attended the farmers market here a couple of times and enjoyed the small but lovely gathering of farmers and artisans. I had some friends sell there and they enjoyed the experience. I think this model of creating community in a space is great--probably it's not been as easy in COVID, but the last year has made me appreciate even more that there are spaces like this.
