Found this place on yelp! This is a busy place! Bustling on a Saturday morning with locals getting balloons and supplies for their parties! We called the day before to order a gender reveal balloon, and they do ones for $39.95. My sister told them the gender and paid over the phone so we wouldn't have to deal with it when we picked it up. So it's basically a huge opaque black balloon filled with confetti and mini balloons, either in pink or blue! When we popped ours, the confetti fell down and the balloons flew up! It was gorgeous! They can accommodate the same day, but you will probably have to wait 20 mins for it to be made depending on how busy they are. We will definitely make the 25 min drive for any of our balloon needs! I can't stress how amazing the folks at Sandy's are. I honestly thought I would make this balloon arch myself but 4 balloons in and I was losing my mind so I trekked from Brooklyn to LI on a recommendation. They walked me through everything but the real magic was when it arrived. JP delivered the balloons and set everything up himself, including some items I brought. He was so careful and told us how to best transport it to take it home. I thought it was a bit pricey but it ended up being so worth it. I would highly recommend them for your event! read more

Their price was fair for many items and their price was unbeatable for a few items that I needed for my son's birthday party. I had to put one star ... and that is TWO too many. Good thing their work is beautiful because the women behind that counter have the ugliest personalities I've ever come across in my entire life. We called first to see if they were open and were told to come in and place an order for a balloon arch. When we got there - the woman behind the counter - in the nastiest tone - asked when our event was, and when we told her she rolled her eyes and told us to call back during the week as we were standing in front of her. Right after that ... another employee says to another ..."if another person walks in here we're locking the door" LOL !!! Could you imagine ??? I'd rather blow up individual balloons myself than purchase anything from these sour people. Quite a time in our economy to turn down business I assume. It's a no for me dawg! read more

The staff is great and helpful. They have same day orders for balloons and they deliver to your event however there is delivery fee. I have ordered balloons numerous times because it is near my home. Sandys did an amazing job for my baby's christening. I designed the colors of the balloons based on some samples they had along with their guidance and they came out great. Their service was unbelievable, they helped me carry my newborn out in the pouring rain, and when the balloons showed up they were even better than what I imagined. Mom and pop operation which I appreciate! They rent helium tanks, medium tank that fills 150 balloons for the week was $100, which is the same as Party City's pricing. Really nice people, and they also rent tables, chairs, tents, photo booths, and popcorn/cotton candy machines! They also sell the typical party supplies (table cloths, cups, plates, etc in a variety of colors). Will definitely be going here for my party needs from now on! read more

I needed a last minute gender reveal balloon on New Year's Eve. Despite being very busy, they were were able to accommodate the order while I waited! I rented chairs and tables from Sandy's for an outdoor party I had at the beginning of September. Every employee I spoke to was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I'm sure their quality is just great, but the saleswoman I spoke to was horrible and their balloon prices were higher than other party supply stores. Here is the 3rd conversation I had with her within a few hours: Amy: Hi, It's Amy, calling you back about the mylar balloons. Sandy's Saleswoman: Sorry, I've spoken to a lot of people this morning. Ok? Amy: Can you bring the balloons at 10AM? Sandy's Saleswoman: "No, I can only bring them 1 hour prior to the beginning of your party." The venue didn't say that. Seems kinda arbitrary. Amy: Can you deliver the balloons? Sandy's Saleswoman: "Yes, but it's a $30 charge, you should probably just pick them up yourself." Amy: I'm pregnant with a small car. Sandy's Saleswoman: "No one can help you?" Why is that any of your business? Also, I'm trying to pay you an extra $30 for delivery charge to drive 15 minutes to the venue. It was so silly. I ended up working with 110 Party Supply. Their balloons were cheaper, and even though the delivery charge was $35, the total was still less than Sandy's. read more

Best place in town. I went looking for a joker costume for my son i noticed the joker costume from the dark night saga. Brought it home and long be hold i was the worst parent ever. i didn't realize he wanted the new joker from the upcoming suicide squad movie costume.
