Went to this place out of pure exploration of my home town. It is such a cute shop, there was only one girl there working at the time and she was handling all the customers by herself so kindly. I came in the other night after having dinner at the Tasty Thai. They sell Dreyers ice cream and frozen yogurt. I have the Tracks ice-cream and it was very grainy like it had been sitting there for a long time. My husband thought his tasted the same way. My daughter enjoyed her orange sherbet. I guess sherbet can't get freezer burn. I can see why there are no free samples of the ice cream. The kind of people we saw walking around. I could see them coming in and sitting there all day tasting all the flavors of ice cream. It's not a good neighborhood and it's next to a Walmart... When we were there two women came in trying to buy donuts with someone else's credit card. The owner said he couldn't accept it, because it wasn't her card. She said I just used it at Walmart. As I'm looking for an ice cream place to go to, I come across Sandy's Sweet Shop. As soon as I saw their pictures and great reviews, I didn't think twice to go there. I was really excited to try a donut with ice cream! Not like I needed it and it was probably better that I didn't, but I was really craving the donut ice cream sandwich that was on one of their yelp pictures. When I arrived it looked small, but clean and like any other donut shop except there was ice cream as well...yuumm (I was super excited)!! I asked a man that was working if I could get donut with ice cream and he didn't know what I was talking about, so I showed him their yelp picture. He then told me that the lady that made the ice cream donuts, had just left and he didn't make those. Whaaattttt...nooooooo!!! I was really, extremely, disappointed...so I just ordered a chocolate donut and some ice cream on the side.
