We were visiting our hometown after moving out of state and stopped in specifically to get the ham & cheese croissant. It ended up in the trash. It tasted almost as if the flour was still raw. There wasn't a lot of options. I didn't see any of the beautifully decorated donuts that others posted photos of. I thought that I might have been in the wrong donut shop, but it was definitely Donut Basket. I also rate restaurants based on whether they are accessible, family friendly, and offer a military/first responder/hero discount. It was not very accessible. It was crowded with a lot of extra chairs that would make it difficult for a wheelchair to turn around in. There were no restrooms available, which meant no place for our kids to wash up in. Ok first off, how cute is the little recorded greeting when you open the door?! And on top of that, the workers personally greet you too! I personally look for local mom and pop coffee shops because they always have the best coffee and donuts.
