The store itself is very spacious and there's a ton of variety. I loved how organized everything was and even better, there were new items I hadn't seen elsewhere yet. Tom is especially great, as well as the regular team members (I unfortunately don't know by name); they're always so helpful and friendly, we even brought them a homemade dinner on one occasion just because they're SO NICE! Sounds silly, I don't drink but this store is near my complex and convenient for me when I need a a snack or soda before I head to work so I'll usually get an Arizona a iced tea or a bag of chips. I'll occasionally cash in any scratch offs I find laying around my car and they never give me a hard time about It. Whenever I cash in any scratch offs at the gas station nearby, they give me the hardest time. But they seem to have a huge selection of liquor, I just don't know what any of It is but can appreciate the volume of product in that store. It does get pretty busy around 5-7 pm from my observations driving past It after work. Everyone there is friendly from the associates to the customers. read more

Been coming to this store since it was in the old location on Rt 46. In this Village Green location the store is much nicer and the service is better. The gentleman behind the counter, I believe his name is Don, is extremely helpful and friendly. Everytime I have a question about a product, usually liquor or beer, he's able to help me and will usually come out from behind the counter to help me quickly find something. I can go to Bottleking, but I get much better service at Sandy's because this gentleman is eager to help. It's also nice to have a quick and friendly conversation and be welcomed by name. That kind of service is rare and keeps me coming back. read more

We have been coming to this place for years and while the wine selection is good and they have one of our favorite red wines, the service is just not good. We buy wine in cases and despite coming here for many years and over that time spending thousands of dollars the owner treats us like strangers and no one ever offers to help carry a case of wine to the car. This is our last time coming here as we rather spend our money where we feel appreciated. read more

A great place for Deals on Spirits and Wines. I've bought whiskies from here for a good $2-5 cheaper than in the city. I usually try and stop by on my way back from upstate NY or when we're headed to Canada to see the In-Laws. Always cheaper than the duty free at the border with a way better selection. Went to Sandy's tonight looking for a specific beer, Two Roads Holiday Ale. The beer was there but neither the cashier nor the owner could come up with a price because it just came in yesterday. The cashier said $20.00 and the owner $12.99. Once home, we checked other retailers and found out that the actual price ranged from 8.99-9.99 for the very same 4 pack. Sorry, but not acceptable. I was looking for a particular Mead and sent the store a FB message to see if they carried it. They responded within hours and said that they didn't have it but would try to get it for me and would check in with me in a few days. True to their word, they did get back to me and told me that they would not be able to get it due to the distributor only selling locally. While I was disappointed, Sandy's suggested an alternative they they personally had sampled and sent me the web page for the alternative. They also said that if I saw something on the web page that they didn't carry, they would order it for me. I really appreciated the personal touch and the followup. read more
