Good selection of everything. Some prices are a bit higher than competitors. Owner is knowlegable but sometimes seems a bit disingenuous. Friendly, family-owned local business, been in the community for decades, extremely convenient. Good people! If you're a resident of the Randolph area, looking for a six pack or bottle of wine at around the $15 price point, or a bottle of quality bourbon, go here. The beer fridges are filled with novel selections, including lots of IPAs, that you won't necessarily get for cheaper for the relatively long hike to the larger warehouse-style liquor stores around the area, particularly considering the gas and time spent. Many of their six packs, in certain seasons, I've never seen anywhere else around. For wines, (including sparkling,) and liquor, the store is relatively small, but the selection is extremely good, maybe surprisingly so for the slightly limited shelf space. (The store is also tidy and equipped with an excellent plastic barrier all around the point-of-sale island in the middle of the store, which feels open and doesn't even detract from the charm of the family-run-small-shop feel.) I wouldn't generally come here for Budweiser, Juengling, Coors, or anything below the price point expectation I've mentioned, but you might find something really cool in this range, and the family that runs it will treat you well! read more

The Wine Cellar is not a liquor store you will find on Main Street, USA. But if you are passing through Morristown and find yourself way up past the center of town, God bless you. Keep going til you find yourself on the outskirts, past Rosie's, on the left. You will not be sorry for pulling over and stopping in. I actually live in the area and yesterday was the first time I've entered the Wine Cellar. It wasn't because of any aversion. I didn't hear bad things. I just never happened upon it. But now that I have... after living in the area for over a year and a half... I am sorry I haven't been here sooner. I went to stupid Acme across the street yesterday and upon leaving, I went across the street to try and procure some rum for a New Year's Eve recipe. With virtually no effort, I located the Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum and dropped it off in front. I said to the nice man behind the counter, "Do you mind if I leave this here while I check out the wine?" Of course he didn't. I wasn't in the aisles long before I found my favorite wine of all time: Northstar Merlot. I picked it up and brought it up front. I enjoyed a conversation about Washington wines with the knowledgeable dude behind the counter. I paid a reasonable price for both the wine and the rum and I look forward to going back to the Wine Cellar in the future. My only regret is that I haven't frequented them more in the past. read more

We have been customers for a couple of years. Nearly each time, we purchase a12 bottles or at least a few. We buy a selection of French reds and a sprinkle of California, Italian wines. Prices we like to buy army are $35-90. Occasionally more $$$. As you imagine, these are above average quality of wines. NOT SO FAST. We had to return countless bottles of wine, I think all of them French. My husband is French and I am well educated in wines as well. The reasons for return have always been poorly stored wines. Horrible sour /fizzy taste in various stages of going acidic... most of the time the cork would be a dead giveaway before you even tasted the wine. Not always, though. So after processing a couple of returns, after our most recent unfortunate purchase, the lady at the store lied that she will taste the unopened $60 wine at home (we 2!!! Bad bottles in a row and we ykept the third unopened to be inspected at the store, as we were questioned on why we always find bad wines, even accused of ADDING VINEGAR to wine, the absurdity is mind blowing). Well, back to unopened wine (return total value was over$150, paid by cash so no credit card protection avAilable)... my husband left the wines with the lady and waited for a call back on the results of tasting. 2 weeks later: he called and was yelled at an hung up upon by the lady who said its only us who find bad wines and we must be tempering with it The truth is, we know wine and we know how it needs to be stored, we had to return wines purchased few days to two weeks after, so they didn't even have a chance to go bad at our location... the lying lady who took unopened bottle, didn't issue any credits or offered replacement, just yelled at us when calling to inquire on the result of the tasting. Her best defense was "I have the same bottle at home and it's fine"... really?? Just spoiled our evening because we couldn't drink any of the wines left (3 bottles !!) and we got yelled at on top of that? Word of advice: if you buy wine here, stick to cheap bottles as they probably are much fresher, don't go above $25-30. And do not bring back your spoiled wine unless you want to be made fun of and mixed with dirt! Do people really think that we have nothing better to do in our lives than buy cases of wine to return few bottles? I'm done with this store but I also feel very violated .cant say it's a first time I see such bad customer treatment though... read more

There are many liquor stores to go to in the area, however I always find myself coming back to this one because of the over the top customer service that I get every time I come. The family that runs this place is extremely welcoming and warm, and make it feel like they genuinely care about you and your service. So inviting and thankful every time.
