I have an 8-week beginner class for kids, all supplies are included. I can teach up to 3 students at a time, that is all I have room for. Each class is 2 hours and $40. Kids learn how to use the sewing machine, we have Singer Confidence models, they make a pillow, apron, tote with 2 pockets, and a pair of elastic-waist pants. After the 8-week beginner class, the kids can make a dress and learn new sewing skills. For adults, they start with 4 classes and make a pair of elastic-waist pants, then move on to making a dress. Students can keep sewing as long as they are able, some have been coming here for 5 years. We have fashion shows, free learning events, and we are in the Memorial Day Parade. Learn to sew, it's an empowering life time skill. It's lots of fun, too. It has meditative qualities.

My last child still isn't driving because she could not pass the test feeling insecure about the lessons she got...Not one of the 3 even had parallel parking lessons....it's been 7 years and my Daughter still refuses to drive because they never completed the training!!! You wont be taught how to do any kind of gel, acrylic, pedicure, manicure, paraffin, regular polish, etc. services. The only hands on things I was taught was silk wraps for a single day and how to make your own charms with silicone molds. And the singular day we "learned waxing" was taking turns doing a couple strips on eachothers arms and thats it. Don't pay close to 5000 dollars to get a half-assed education, when youre teaching yourself pretty much everything you need to do if you want to be a nail tech. Me daughter who just turned 4 a few weeks ago was taking ballet lessons here. The class is 90…read moreminutes long, so it's difficult for her to focus the entire time. Yesterday when I picked her up, she was waiting patiently in line for a sticker after class when the instructor told her she didn't behave well enough for a sticker, maybe next time, as she handed every other child a sticker. Then, the instructor proceeded to hand out munchkins to all the kids in her class, even some younger siblings, and only excluded my daughter. I called and spoke with the woman at the front desk, who just defended the instructor. When I asked why no one spoke with me if my daughters behavior was a problem, she said they usually speak with a parent after multiple incidents, and this was just the first time. Apparently, this punishment was because my daughter was moving in the opposite direction she was directed to, which shows how developmentally inappropriate a 90 minute class is for a 4 year old, and the lack of training the instructor must have had. I would call this bullying, and will not be sending my daughter back. I am appalled she was treated this way and I will be more careful about whose care I leave her in when selecting another dance studio to try.

They also quoted me a price for my daughter to take lessons and her road test. They scheduled the test. Then right before it they told me it was more money because it was scheduled in Newark. THEY WERE THE ONES THAT SCHEDULED THE TEST - you would think they would have asked me at that time if it was okay or mentioned the upcharge. They are EXTREMELY UNETHICAL.
