Do nooottttt go here especially for the daytime nail program in kenilworth, they'll only teach you stuff from the book and stuff to help you pass the written exam, absolutely nothing practical or hands on, I had to bring my own kit and most of my things were thing I bought myself, around 10% of my kit was things from the school that I barley even used. Not to mention that the kit they made me pay 600 dollars for was all things from Amazon and only products for outdated services. You wont be taught how to do any kind of gel, acrylic, pedicure, manicure, paraffin, regular polish, etc. services. The only hands on things I was taught was silk wraps for a single day and how to make your own charms with silicone molds. And the singular day we "learned waxing" was taking turns doing a couple strips on eachothers arms and thats it. Don't pay close to 5000 dollars to get a half-assed education, when youre teaching yourself pretty much everything you need to do if you want to be a nail tech. Ms Aabha is VERY knowledgeable and I passed my written exam with 94%. I only missed 3 questions. She definitely prepared me for the exam and I definitely know more now than before I started. read more

WE WERE NEVER TAUGHT PEDICURES, OR WAXING!! We complained all the time to the owners who never did anything! Our kits never came complete, nor did the give us the items missing nor a refund for what was not received! DO NOT REGISTER IN THIS SCHOOL. Read the reviews from Google, the real ones. This school has no cleaning / sanitation practices. There is no cleaning personnel on site. The students are responsible for washing their own towels / linens but when there is no supervision FROM THE TEACHERS you will find all dirty. There are no materials to practice and only one room with three beds to share between all students. Rooms are very small is space and very uncomfortable to move around. They don't follow up on your homework or your progress. They don't prepare you for the State Exam. You will have to do it by yourself. For those that don't get a grant to pay 100% for the course will get loans a total debt of $ 12,000 or $18,000 depending on what course you take. While you get licensed it will be more than 6 months and you will have to start paying the debt to the government. The school doesn't place you in any job. They will over charge your for "additional hours" done in school. They will not send your papers to the board until you pay them. Ms. Aabah, the owner will be "nice" and "sweet", but be aware!
