I was surprised at how big this Prometric Testing site was compared to the ones I've been to in LA…read moreand Virginia. Had a pretty good experience overall! On both days of testing, staff were very clear with their instructions and efficient for the most part. Staff members were a little more short tempered in the morning when there was a lot of people but definitely friendlier later on. The testing room itself was much more spacious and surprisingly quiet (despite being in downtown brooklyn). There were a good amount of lockers with 2 coat racks. A lockers can definitely fit a standard backpack/moderate sized tote bag. There was a lot of space/seating for breaks, from tables to couches. Bathrooms were also clean. Only thing is that I wish they had more signs and clocks were more easily visible. You're supposed to wait for a staff member to conduct a security check when you head into the testing area but sometimes they don't see you from where they are sitting so I was initially very confused if I just walk in or wait. For those with time-sensitive breaks, they only have an (older) analog clock in the break area and none in the hallway/bathrooms so you really have to keep track yourself. Overall my test days went pretty smoothly at this testing center. Good luck to you!

I worked with my son last summer (2020) to help him prepare for the SHSAT. We made progress, but…read morewe hit a wall after a couple of months. My son was close but not quite up to the level he needed to be to get an offer from any of the specialized schools. He was burned out, and the uncertainty about whether, when, and how the SHSAT would be administered didn't help. It wasn't until mid-January, a little more than two weeks before the test, that my son regained enough enthusiasm to refocus. I got in contact with Ed, and he very quickly set up a short series of private sessions for my son with Adnan. I had my doubts about how much could be accomplished in just a few sessions, but these were put to rest in the first 10 minutes working with Adnan -- it was clear that he had the expertise to quickly assess my son's strengths and weaknesses and make very productive use of the limited time available. After four sessions my son felt a lot more comfortable with material he had been struggling with and confident about his prospects. I was very pleased and highly recommend Antoine Education. (While the test results would not have impacted my review, I decided to wait until the receiving them in hopes of having a better story to tell. We got good news from DOE this past week, and I have no doubt that Adnan's tutoring gave my son the boost he needed.)

I thought that was the norm and she just needed time to catch up...rebuild the foundation. But I was worried for her. She was struggling and losing her confidence. She thought she was dumb. That's changed since FPL. Even after her first session. She couldn't believe how patient and kind her tutor was. He didn't give her face or sigh when she didn't understand. He told her it's OK and explained it in different ways until she understood. He even went pass the hour to help her on several occasions. Her views towards math has changed. She's even helping her classmates with math now. The tutors also helped her prepare for any upcoming exams. FPL has changed my daughters life. I recently took a Kaplan LSAT Preparation course and was very let down. I had heard good things…read moreabout Kaplan courses, and for the price I paid for the course I had high hopes. The instructor was incredibly boring and not particularly intelligent. I feel no more prepared for my test than I did before I took the class. They say you can re-enroll in the class for free if you're not satisfied, but the problem with that is you have to endure the hell that is a Kaplan prep course all over again. They have a money-back policy where you can get refunded if your test score doesn't improve, but that's a total scam. Obviously my test score increased marginally over the two months of the course, but that was to my own merit and not to Kaplan's. The "Kaplan Method" is completely impractical. Take your prep classes somewhere else.

Customer service is disgusting. They wasted our time for 5 month. leaving me without any options now. I will take my business elsewhere from now on and will advise all my friends to do the same!!!
