I had mitigation work done from Paul Davis. Payment was sent DIRECTLY to the local Paul Davis shop of which I have a record of by State Farm. After calling back to figure out what was going on I was met with REPEATED threats and threats to my property from the general Manager. He stated I had 10 days before a lien would be put on my house. I informed him I was recording the conversation which I actually was and he called me a liar and said he did not care. He immediately changed and said the lien would be put on my house today/immediately as retribution for filing a complaint against him. This is unacceptable behavior and customer service . Sadly the work completed by the actual staff was good and timely however on this interaction alone I would never recommend Paul Davis to anyone. There are plenty of mitigation companies to use. Take this with a grain of salt. Don't use them if you don't want to be treated like shit.

The first one was rainwater coming in through the roof down the inside walls of an upstairs and downstairs bedroom causing mold that had to be removed and flooring & drywall that had to be replaced. Cole Borgeson handled everything with my insurance company to get the project started on the first job providing accurate quotes for the repairs. The second job was an unexpected pipe leak inside the wall on the stairway on New Year's day. This time I called my insurance company (USAA) to request again that they use Rockefellers for the repairs as I had such wonderful service from their subcontractors Daniel Rodriquez (Homestar painting) and Tim Gallegos (Tim's Flooring Covering) that I wanted to have the same crew again. On both Projects the Project Manager's (Christopher on the first job) and Sarvar (on the second job) assigned were great and very professional. At each phase of the job that took place they were there to supervise that the work was being completed. If I had any suggestions or questions they were immediately helpful. I love the outcome of both bedrooms especially replacing the carpet in one room with flooring. And, the wall repair on the stairs we changed the color from white to a sand color which accent the wall beautifully that you notice right away when walking into the house. It started out good as expected…read more Their team arrived quickly and started to setup a lot of fans and dehumidifiers; however, that's where it ended. They setup a ridiculous amount of equipment for a small leak. Just minimal monitoring, no other work. When asked to remove the equipment, they said that they would send someone out, but no one would show up. After repeated calls, they finally sent someone out about a week later. To my surprise, got billed for nearly $4000 for work that was never performed. On top of that, they repeatedly sent overdue payment notices and stated that a lien would be placed on the property and interest would be charged if I didn't pay. Stay away from this company at all cost, you have been warned. Save yourself the headaches and stress. Zero stars!

Once George got to my house and did his initial walk through, he recommended I get the Gold or Platinum Cleaning package. I decided to go with the Gold package. Once he was done, he called me to inform me that the carpets are in great condition and he was able to remove all the stains. Soon after, my property manager walked through the house and found the carpet was actually not in that great of a condition. I then called George to see if he could take a look again. He came by and spent about 20 minutes at the house (not really sure what he actually did while he was there). He then called me back and guaranteed me that the carpet was in good condition. Just yesterday, I had a potential tenant walk through the house and mentioned some stains on the carpet still. George is definitely a talker and charged me over $300 for a not so great job.
