This is a great museum for kids of all ages ,and adults too, especially if they are interested in STEM, creativity and inventing. Plenty of fun, hands-on learning and inspiration for future careers.

Didn't take many photos because I was involved in the moment with my wife and friends and amazed at all the nice art work they have. We stopped and asked the security officer a few questions. One was how long do these art pieces stay out for viewing and also do they transfer them to other museums around the country. He said they rotate out art work about every few years so it keeps things fresh and no they don't transfer pieces. All pieces stay in house. If you are ever in the area you must stop by the Harn Museum of Art! Also next the year Florida Museum of Natural History will reopen after a full renovation and you also must see that!!! The outside area is spacious and a great place to hang out and drink a beer. Just a really nice setup with a laid-back vibe. Their Honey Bee Citrus Blonde Ale was the highlight for me. That beer has officially moved into my top 5. I could drink it all day and honestly, I pretty much did since I found it on tap at a few other places while I was in Gainesville. Now I'm hoping I can find it somewhere near me in Orlando. Overall, great brewery, great outdoor space, and an amazing beer. I'd definitely go back.

(Please note these photos are of an event, and they do not have vendors outside every day. Their Facebook posts all their events.) The brewery doors were open, so you get to peek inside and see where they make the beer. The staff was working extremely proficient, and I never waited more than a few minutes for a draft. Parking was a breeze, and we arrived right at event start. The beer was fantastic, and mine even contained honey! Colby got the sugar and spice, and he loved it, and says it was "verrrrry good." I even got to share some of my stickers with the world, so thank you for a chill family day, my teen even enjoyed herself. We can't wait to return.

What it is, though, is a gorgeous theatre in Gainesville which has a lot of left-wing and liberal and really moving and interesting local pieces, a lot of which are connected to the college. Alachua County was formed in 1824 from the Timucan word meaning "sinkhole." Gainesville has been…read morethe county seat since 1854. This courthouse is located on a prime city block in downtown Gainesville, surrounded by retail and restaurants and an open square that seems to be used occasionally for music festivals or farmers markets. The structure is an Art Deco / Modern style that is four stories of concrete and glass. Because of the nearby buildings and massive trees next to it, it's challenging to get far enough away to get a proper photograph. But it's in mostly good condition considering the Florida weather. It could use a good pressure cleaning of the exterior. The marker nearby reads, "The Alachua County Commission, by authority of the Florida Legislature, selected this site for a courthouse in 1854, moving the county seat from Newnansville. The first courthouse was a frame building completed in 1856. It was demolished on the completion of a red brick courthouse in 1886. The current building, completed in 1958, and its 1962 addition, were erected in response to the continuing expansion of governmental needs in Alachua County." This courthouse is quite dated and looks pretty much straight out of the 70s or something like that…read morebut it gets the job done The inside and the outside architecture are both in need of some renovation however they keep it very clean inside All the employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful, it seems like mostly everybody except the litigants had a smile on their face. The location in downtown Gainesville is nice, it's close to the park and parking is pretty decent, there is parking all the way around the block for two hours or less for free and if you need more Parking than that you can park across the street in the pay lot. There is free Wi-Fi sponsored by the city in the area. I would not suggest filing a lawsuit to go experience this courthouse, however if you got to come here it's a decent place to go.
