When she rang the doorbell, our two dogs, Andy and Maggie, barked like crazy, an issue we've been dealing with since we moved to our new house. We loved Ronit. She was amazing. Our 10 year old Maltese ( who acts like a 3 year old) responded to her so well and we saw immediate improvement. I am so happy I found Ronit to help us with our 2-1/2 year old Heeler rescue, Mac. We've been working with him for over a year and made progress in earning his trust and calming him down, and he became very responsive to my husband's way of communicating with him, but I still struggled. In particular, he has an aversion to delivery trucks and delivery people, as well as going crazy when someone comes to the door. I had looked into other trainers, but when I read Ronit's website explaining her approach, I knew she could be the one to help me. She's very holistic in her assessment of the dog and the owner, and, as I understood it, looked for subtle clues to identify what simple changes needed to be made, based on our postures and energy. The first day, I learned a new way to become in charge with Mac, and he readily and easily responded - he was actually relieved. We worked on answering a knock at the door in a calm way. In the second visit, we worked more on answering the door and went for a walk in our neighborhood, where I learned how to keep him next to me and recognize signs when he was reacting to things happening around us. A simple "shhhh" and gentle tug on the leash let him know it "wasn't his business". He progressed quickly during that one walk. On the third visit, we walked at Shoreline Park where there were more learning opportunities when meeting people and other dogs. He was perfect, and we agreed we had accomplished our goals. Ronit really is a Dog Whisperer. My husband & I have a two American Eskimo 12 month old brothers, Orlando & Oliver. We were supposed to get them when they were 10 weeks, but because of Covid lockdown we were not able to get them till they were 5 months old, as they were in another state. I can't believe what a difference just one training session with Ronit did for our Boxer puppy. He would not walk on a leash at all, after that session he is happy to do it. We contacted Ronit for help when our six year old Shih-tzu started marking inside the house.  I was a little reluctant to work with a trainer, as I was concerned that they would "crush the spirit" of our super happy and energetic little boy.  I could not have been more wrong.  Ronit has such a calming and positive energy and really understood that we consider our dog a family member.  She came to our home and was able to provide us with simple, effective tips to give our little guy the structure that he was apparently craving.  After only two sessions with her, our dog was walking calmly on a leash (and not trying to lead/pull), coming when called, no longer jumping on guests who came to our door, and sitting on his mat (until released) while we have meals, instead of begging at our feet.  Most importantly though, the peeing stopped!  Ronit was such a pleasure to work with that were a little sad our dog didn't have more issues so that we could work with her longer!!! read more
