We've been camping here for years. All good until this weekend! I felt as though we were in a horror movie! Bathrooms disgusting and out of toilet paper! No upkeep or just common day to day cleaning! To add to that, branches fell off a tree by the dump station on Saturday causing a block to get out! Do you think they removed them before this morning? Of course not! They never did; then, after 2 weeks of waiting, I went by to get it and they hit me with a $350 bill that was supposedly only suppose to be a $150. After getting boat back everything they did on the boat was not working properly so dropped it back off and then they held it there for 2.5 weeks and wouldn't answer phone when i called and they beat around the bush everytime I asked a question. I THEN GAVE UP, went by, and just made a surprise visit to get the boat and all they said is we checked battery voltage and everything looks good. MY BOAT DOESN'T EVEN RUN NOW. I really wanted to trust in this company and give them a shot due to convenience but they are UNPROFESSIONAL, under STAFFED, and not worth putting trust into. DO NOT bring your boat to them i'll save you a few months of frustration so you can get back on the water.

Found 3 different bugs in bathroom and being 6'6" and trying to use that bathroom is painful and virtually impossible. Had booked a 3 night stay and left after one night. When expressing my concerns and issues with the facilities no offer of a partial refund or solution was offered. Was told refunds were only allowed by the owner and he was out of town. Lesson learned!! Don't stay at Canal Lakes. Was going to try the resta but after experiencing the cabin I could not eat anything from there. Go elsewhere and save yourself trouble and time.
