Both hospitable and attentive to safety. Scouts had a blast on the course. Some played disk golf as well. Campsites were nice with access to running water and fire pits. Situated in a you pine stand. I highly recommend the venue. They are working hard to develop the place. Everything centers around "the hub" which offers a nice place to gather.

Cabin #2 had a shower drain backup after literally a 3 minute shower. I look down and water is…read morebrown and a large dead mosquito had come up from the drain. Found 3 different bugs in bathroom and being 6'6" and trying to use that bathroom is painful and virtually impossible. Had booked a 3 night stay and left after one night. When expressing my concerns and issues with the facilities no offer of a partial refund or solution was offered. Was told refunds were only allowed by the owner and he was out of town. Lesson learned!! Don't stay at Canal Lakes. Was going to try the resta but after experiencing the cabin I could not eat anything from there. Go elsewhere and save yourself trouble and time.

Came to the coarse…read morefor a family and friend game and right away when arriving associate was not in a good mood for asking for a extra cart even I knew I would have to pay for due to a extra rider (6yo). A attitude was give from Ron automatically and was upset. As I told him he needs to chill out calmly. A Friend that was playing with was doing the same with the extra due to have 2 little one with his wife. Attitude was given by Ron again due to the extra cart. When leave was addressed to play 4 ahead and 2 behind to keep pace of play after starting we swapped and I would hit the the wife would hit the next shot and same for the other couple to keep pace. Kept seeing Ron roaming the coarse stalking us watching. After 3rd time of seeing him he came and said I have rain checks for you and you need to leave after this hole and blamed it on pace of play as we pointed to the players on the tee box waiting for the people in front of them I laughed and said we're keeping up look then he turned it around and said was now the kids are running around but our kids never left the carts beside 1 time on cart path to get a sandwich From the cart 3 yards away. After explaining to him that this isn't right and your not being truthful he didn't like that and told me to leave as my buddy talks to him and is de-escalating the situation that him having a attitude with all of us since arrival. I said boo-hoo about leaving after a minute or two of him talking to my friend finally as his wife was leaving with their kids he decided to leave and not come around anymore. I understand if we did not keep up with pace of play, had obnoxious kids, Kids running around on the green or even on the course. This would be justifiable to tell someone leave. But none of this was going on. Such a beautiful course that was ruined by associates that are entitled to a little authority.
