I will never deal with them again. I did a web inquiry about a car on their website, was called almost immediately; told they had the car, explained that I would be driving over 1.5hrs. Samuel set an appointment for me to come today, said the car would be out front waiting. I take off work early, get there and am told they sold the car last week. Turns out Samuel works for the call center, not the dealership. Gentleman I talked tried to be helpful. Double checked the lot because I showed him it was still showing as available. He cant find the car. As Im leaving he comes back to tell me they do have it and it will be back on the lot next week, someone is driving it. I had bought a Maverick from them a couple of months ago, so i dropped by with a quote from an out of state dealer to see if they could get close to that price. Taylor sent me a quote that was almost $3, 000 more. I told him no but thanks for trying. He contacted me again and I told him the same. He contacted my wife today and was persistent even after she told him no again. Still he tried and she threaten to report him for harassing her and blocked. Does He need to be handling customers? Should be ZERO stars! I recently had a horrible experience with this dealership. I was in middle of moving to Florida from Connecticut with my two daughters and our car broke down on way in South Carolina. It was midnight and in place we knew nothing. I was able to get us to a motel off the highway and it was in manning SC. We had to be in Florida in 2 days. I had to deal with being in an area where there was really no way to get us to Florida in time unless a bought a car literally. I was open and honest about my situation with the dealership and really kind exposed my vulnerability in the situation we were in hoping just for honesty and good service. I got the opposite! I picked out a car I wanted in a price range I wanted and instead of honoring that all they did was try to get me into car that was way over what I wanted to spend and not what i needed for my situation. To abbreviate it took me asking them if they could drop me at a different dealership for them to actually work the deal I wanted. mind you I had no car, there were no rental car places close and no public transportation in the area. So then we do the deal and I'm told that they will register the car in Florida for me and I was like great. Come to find out they registered it in Connecticut and what i was told was a lie. They are suppose to be the professionals and experts not me. First after my daughters and I leave SC with the car and head to Florida after only one day the check engine light comes on. Now only about two and half weeks after the car was bought my car I bought from them is in the shop for the second time and totaling $3000 in repairs. Now i know you buy it as is but there is also "good faith" or doing the right thing and to find out from dealership down here in Florida that there is no way they wouldn't have known the issues the car had is really disingenuous and out right BAD BUSINESS! Not to mention they snuck a tire deal in the deal so they could make more money off me. Also now I have to pay for registration all over again in Florida for a car i already paid registration for through their deal. I let them know and i was told car was sold "as is" and that they cant take care of the registration because it would have to do the deal over. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! The only positive thing I will say is my sales person Gary was great and this was all done by his superiors and I could tell he was not happy and felt genuinely bad about all this. I'm not someone to write negative reviews but this had to be done because if I can help even one other person in a vulnerable position so they are not taken advantage of like me and my daughters were then it was worth it. A real quality professional dealership would stand by their car and do what is right for the customer and they only care about themselves! DO NOT BUY NOTHING FROM HERE AND PAY CASH..... I worked hard to pay cash for a car I wanted...originally I was just shopping around and seen a 2017 ford edge Sel here so I went to test drive it and fell in love. Well Alton said everything on the car checked out was in great condition. Oil was changed, new spark plugs etc. So I paid 16K out the door. Went in to sign paper work and nothing was explained on what I was signing (my fault) Was never offered an extended warranty to my knowledge but hey why get one when your paying cash right? Figured they would be honest about it. So not even a couple days I noticed oil spots in my yard got under the car and seen it's leaking oil from the seal so I call take it back they put me in a car to drive called said it was "fixed" well I looked the next day guess what it's still leaking around the seal took it back for them to "fix" it again and it's fixed this time fast forward 1 week after having it check engine light came on my husband hooked it up to the scanner and misfire on cylinder 3 coil pack Pop the hood and the bolt that holds the coil pack to the motor is broken off so he goes to change the spark plugs and lord and behold the spark plug was striped out into the motor... (they blamed all this on us) changed all the spark plugs accept that one because it's striped into the motor the rest were pure black and didn't look like they had ever been changed so I took it back to ford showing my butt because hey you knew this was a problem and "checked" it out but if you'd done your job then you wouldn't have missed that right? They charged me $64 to hook it to the scanner when I already told them what was wrong with the car to began with because it was already on a scanner and only code shown was misfire in cylinder 3, So they retapped that plug and I refused to pay $800. They also stated I had other hoses broken under the hood which was a lie because my husband would have seen that including that I had taken photos of under the hood before I taken it and photos of the scanner code shown. Since they done that the car hasn't been running right ever since. Fast forward to now started running like crap so now it's throwing 5 codes including misfire on cylinder 3, camshaft sensors and a couple other codes. I wouldn't even be so mad but I haven't even had the car a year and it's pretty much popped on me my mechanic has done everything and nothing has fixed this car yet. Dealership would not honor online price listed on their website (linked to from Ford). We were willing to buy vehicle, but they refused to work with us. Very surprising considering it was last year's model. We emailed and called the general manager, but he will not respond. Recommend you take your money somewhere else where you are treated honestly and don't utilize false advertising. read more

Everyone was wonderful. Wesley Alderman (the Internet Manager/our Sales Associate) was particularly attentive, patient and helpful/understanding. From my first interaction with him on the phone to our closing he was professional and courteous. Bill Sorenson the Sales Manager did his best to get us a great deal on my now beloved - new 2017 Ford Mustang Convertible. Robert Hertel the Finance Manger could not have been better. We had a small snafu on our end with an out of state title on the car we traded but he walked us through every step on how to get it done and it sailed trough. Thanks to everyone at Santee Ford!!!! It all went as well as it could have. I was looking for a very specific car and they helped me own it. I wasn't really looking to buy it on the spot that day but within an hour or so it was mine!!!!!! read more
