The limited access and sporadic timing does make it sometimes inconvenient to use as reliable transportation. However the new cars are really nice and they even have heating/ac so you can escape the weather. This station is pretty central on the green line. The biggest issue is parking since there is no long term parking at all. A few of the stations allow all day or at least longer then a hour parking. That is not the case here. The good points are there is a little store right at the station along with a bar and a coffee shop.

The drop off location is on the third floor parking lot of the mall, but very quick to walk to the elevator or escalators down and you'll be right in front of Macy's and 85C bakery.

The coaster station doesn't have security with the bus terminal for the city buses the buses come for short period and leave. When I had arrived the walk through the city and the main street of Highway 101 there were many places rundown and the parks you would see of the many migrants. The Coaster station is only one track with two tracks that one waits the other passes for the station is not one you be after hours. The few restaurants nearby for the main street of of the city finding that the restaurBtz and the stores have been found selling alcohol to underage the sale of fentanyl the dangerous illegal drug . The train station they do have many of the buses that take you up into the many of Oceanside and the connection with the 101 that takes you back to UTC Mall in Lajolla. The security was of the police that were patrolling up and down the main street for the station there is no security for the terminal. Travel to the many stations you will find many of the buses with the security of the stations needs to have business people traveling. This is a the only and I mean the only transit station in rancho Bernardo you get the the 20 bus…read moregoes back downtown down here the 235 comes here the 290 and one more other but otherwise there are no bathrooms nothing to eat it's nothing but a park and drive Park and Ride place it's right next to the highway it's open most the time what's the nice it has a really nice view of it too basically like I said this is the only place in rancho Bernardo you get a bus unless you go down on the main Street which is only the 20 bus that goes from rancho Bernardo and all the way back to downtown San Diegon otherwise you have to go down to the transit center to get the 235 to go back downtown which is the cheapest one you get the other one cost like $5 just to get on the bus unless you have one of the really expensive bus passes which cost $100 when the regular bus pass cost $72 a month
