The San Diego River Valley that is with the the areas of the Fenton Parkway the valley is one of the many areas that was heavy into the train transport through the river valley. Traveling on the trolley going through Fenton parkway you can see many things and the great day to spend and walk by the San Diego River Valley. Long story short, everyone was eventually able to get out and had to walk to wherever they were headed. I ended up waiting for an Uber to get to my car which was a mile away. Cost me an additional $25 bucks and the time wasted waiting for the ride. I know the trolley and bus are usually very reliable and I've actually been a fan for years, this time around was an absolute disaste I didn't even request a refund since it was only $5 for my friend and I.

One of my favorite things to do is utilize the transit to get to shows and venues like at the Gaslamp, the convention, or even Petco Park. Used it this weekend for survivor series, and it was such a lifesaver with parking, convenience, and easy access to get to the venue and back. I loved it, and I wish we had this exact smooth service in L.A.; ours sucks. There's no sugar coating that. L.A. needs to learn from San Diego and take notes.

The janitor cleaned the water but was otherwise dismissive and lacking empathy even after seeing the damages. So, I asked him to apologize repeatedly for neglecting his duty . He adamantly refused, stating that "HE (personally) didn't spill the water" and "can't be everywhere at once" lol. The manager had the sense to apologize but was condescending. Talking over me the entire time, loudly defending the janitor within earshot of him. Mansplaining excuses that are NOT the customer's burden to understand such as: "we can't hire janitors 24/7" and "you said the spill looked like it was there for a while? Well, he ONLY clocked in 1hr ago and cleans the restrooms first". How is that my business lol? Any assigned duty during his shift is his responsibility. It's just common sense to apologize. Your internal staffing issues are also not a customer concern; you simply need more janitors or at least for them to prioritize tasks more efficiently. I've worked as a server and can't count the number of times I've had to fix and take accountability for a previous shift's mistake, btw. Annoying to listen to the manager trying to refute and twist all of my legitimate points in the janitor's defense. Yet, fully admitting that he needs to be admonished. Stop being your employee's boy. Drum roll please!!! SD Park-2-Park shuttle is EVERY Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6pm-midnight on Thursdays, and 6pm-2am on Fridays and Saturdays!!! Maybe I'm too excited about these prices, but I think that they are a good deal--especially if you are in heels or don't want to get all sweaty walking, or if you dress "like" a hooker and don't want to get harassed, yet again, by the cops while on your way to the Whistlestop. This is especially great for us locals, who can walk over to 30th. But, it was really intended for those who drive to the area and can't find a place to park. The idea is to use the parking garage on 30th street in North Park, and then shuttle your heart out to various restaurants and bars in University Heights, Normal Heights, North Park and South Park. The shuttle runs the length of 30th street from Adams Ave. all the way down to Beech. It does a loop in University Heights for those who want to check out Small Bar, Lei Lounge etc. It even makes a stop at the Lafayette Hotel--hello Red Fox Room and Gilly's!!! The driver (didn't catch the name this time) was 3 minutes away. That driver also canceled. 3rd attempt. Gabriel was 4 minutes away. Then 3 minutes. Then 2. Then back to 3. What? Then jumped to 5 minutes away. Nope. F*ck it. This time I canceled. We walked and arrived in less time than we waited for Circuit to never show up. They canceled on us twice, then the third driver kept getting further away. Ridiculous. I left a comment on the app voicing my displeasure. As expected, I did not receive a response.

When I first loaded it up, I thought it wasn't working, but it was just that the ride window had not started yet (it starts taking rides at 7am, and I was looking at 6:50a). I was able to book a ride immediately and it gave me a waiting time of about 3 minutes. The wait time was not entirely accurate, as it ended up being closer to 10 minutes. But, once I was picked up, it was smooth sailing. I even had my luggage with me, and while it was tricky, I was able to fit it all in the vehicle. Driver was super friendly, too. Because this is totally free, and worked for my needs, I'm giving it five stars. But this is not a good service if you are in a hurry or are particular about how you want to travel. It was an open-air vehicle, which meant no windows and no A/C. We also stopped to pick someone else up so you won't necessarily get a direct ride. If that's important to you, you should get an Uber or Lyft instead. It also does NOT go to the airport, so you will need a rideshare for that. Also, I used this service in the early morning. I can't speak for during peak times. But for back and forth from the convention center in the early morning, it was perfect. And since everything else in SD is so expensive, I'll take whatever savings I can get.

Perfect! Cost $2.50 to exit the airport & not have to deal with the traffic congestion. Tap Pay on the bus or at the Kiosk by the bus tops. Tip: download MTS app to get schedule & Routes . Google Maps is also good to confirm you're going in the right direction. Cost Comparison: from airport to downtown, civic center, gas lamp, Petco Park using ride share is roughly $22-$40 depending on your level Comfort. From airport to Harbor/Grape $2.50 in less than 5 minutes. To catch a ride from there the cost decreased to $7 Luggage racks available on the 992 bus. To get around I either walked or used to Blue Line or the Green Line. If you're semi fit, you can walk. The Green line will take you to the BallPark. Daypass is $5.00 buy a Pronto Card. Getting to airport. I walked from Little Italy with my two suitcases & a carry-on from India to Harbor/Hawthorne stop. Luckily it was all downhill. That takes you directly to the terminals for $2.50. There are many buses that run through the Bational City from the trolley stations to the shopping malls you can catch the 967 to the Mariposa and Division that is the top of the hill. The 967 is one of the busses that goes past the Boys and Girls Club you findat the Kimball Park located nearby is the Veterans Memorial ampatheater its more of a cify park and thd plaques to decorate. The 967 has been one that makes trips on the hour from the 24th street that is serviced by the #13 Bus Route that you can take to the Euclid Transit and the Grantville Trolley Station. For the 967 of the many driverz that I have seen good service keeping riders dry while waiting for a replacement drivers or busses durring mechanical problems. For the rides you can use your tap card or pay for one way fares from the past you could buy transfers that you could transfer over to other busses and conbecting to the trolley of the Blue and Green line. Over the many years the many shopping malls were the College Grove and the Mission Valley Mall that was the connection center for the transit busses and the connections to the County Busses. Of the many colors that the busses have been decorated in the colors of red and the blue and green from the first busses that were in service.
