The end result was a very smooth and very firm surface, which was much better than we expected. The other part of the job was putting asphalt sealer on a pre-existing asphalt parking area. They did a terrific job, preparing the surface and coating it with sealer. Several months have passed and the asphalt sealer is holding up very well and the compacted road base is still as firm as the day they finished. We are very satisfied with the job that they did.

One thing that really stood out is that they noticed our old driveway had the wrong slope and that the approach up to the front porch was too steep. They corrected the driveway so it now has a proper slope toward the road and added a new step for us -- at no additional cost. That was not something we asked for, but something they caught. Everything was done exactly on schedule and exactly at the agreed price. No surprises. They also worked smoothly with another contractor we had on site at the same time.
