I loved the way this open air cafe made me feel like I was on holiday. I visited twice whilst in São Paulo, once for breakfast, another time for lunch and enjoyed them equally. Their fresh sucos (as ever, my strong suggestion is that you try the abacaxi) are an excellent way to start the day and you can't beat the people watching both inside the restaurant and outside on Rua Oscar Freire. A great corner spot to have breakfast on a sunny morning. The French bistro appearance mixed with bossa nova make this a good place to sit back and read the paper (or post on yelp). The double shot flat white is the best coffee I've had in weeks and my partner really enjoyed his 'Bubbles' breakfast cocktail. The breakfast salad is a real winner, with crispy, delicious thick-cut bacon. Adore this place! Was skeptical because it's on a touristy street, but there seems to be multiple locations around Sao Paulo, all popular. When I find myself back in SP, I'll be rushing back here Very trendy, intimate, yet casual place for a drink, meal, coffee, or working! Although it's versatile, it doesn't seem like it's trying too hard - I was very impressed by the atmosphere, the friendly and quick service, and the clean bathroom. They have a nice outdoor patio as well as indoor seating. The house espresso is phenomenal - do NOT miss! It will never disappoint you. I would say it's between a medium and a dark roast that is executed perfectly. Comes with a speculoos biscuit (emoji with hearts for eyes here) as well as a shot glass filled with clear liquid...had hopes it was vodka, but it was tonic water that I enjoyed too Belizean ceviche was great! Generous portions of fish and freshly chopped tomatoes/onions, with that great citrus cut. Served with chips that weren't too salty and paired with the fish well, adding a great crunch to the yummy yummy fish. This place was under remodel and would certain go again to update this review but for now it is based on my last experience. Here is the breakdown: Food- one star Selection of coffee is always great. I never been there to have food but love the afternoon coffee break experience there for the most part with some pastries or sweet. Decor/ ambiance's one star It was under remodel. So if you don't want to see that, wear outside. Won't remove a star because of that as they did a good job covering the remodel. Service Very slow and kind of upset with it. They served me the wrong item and rather than fix they went back and forth trying to point the finger of what was said and what was ordered. As a client I didn't want to go through that. I love this place! My husband & I were in temporary housing in Jardins when we first moved to São Paulo & it was basically my "office." I would come here 3-4 times a week to work & enjoy the delicious food & coffee. We still go for brunch at least once a month now even though we have moved to Moema. The atmosphere is fun & laid back, but also kind of hip. The outside seating is very popular on nice days & offers some great people watching. However, I prefer sitting inside, toward the back of the restaurant, where it's quieter & they have comfy chairs to relax in. All the food I've had here has been really good. Brunch favorites include Huevos Rancheros, smoothies and whipped yogurt with raspberry coulis and fresh fruit. For lunch, I love the quinoa salad with mushrooms & apricots. It's such an interesting & flavorful mix of ingredients. I've also had several pasta dishes that have been excellent. They offer daily specials so there are always new things to try. The food always seems to be very fresh & well seasoned. And of course their coffee drinks are wonderful. The staff is friendly & never seemed to mind when I would stay there & work on my computer for hours at a time. It can get quite busy & noisy during weekends & peak hours during the week, but I've never had to wait for a seat. All in all, a wonderful spot! read more

Super cool spot in a super cool street. As foreigners, it was a bit hard to find our way in this huge and chaotic city. Finding this place appeared as a little gem for us. After having done a bit of shopping, we enjoyed a nice jar of white sangria (it has another name but I cannot recall it) at the terrace, all of us facing the street. It reminded me of Parisian cafés where you sit and observe people passing by. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the café itself looks nice. Definitely a must try in SP! read more

Starbucks has nothing on this local establishment! A friend of mine knows the owners and she was kind enough to share the love and bring me here. I was able to grab some of their delicious beans and bring it back for the in laws. They roast everything here on site and they also serve little did bits. The smell of this place wakes the senses up too. They're super laid back here and have an english menu that needed. My Portuguese was only so so by then... It's also on Oscar Freire and amazing shopping street, which if you can get dropped off by a taxi cause driving around here is terrible.... but it is worth it. Get the strongest stuff they have cause you'll only get it here. read more

nice place to work (not quiet at all but good internet), hang out, meet friends and/or people watch. I had the prosciutto omelette and it wasn't good at all. Thats why I'm not giving 5 stars. But they have a ton of coffee drinks, green juices, and other drinks. Pretty pricey, but you are paying for the location. It's worth it. I would come back and try something else. A few colleagues and I found ourselves wandering the streets after enjoying a meal at Figueira Rubaiyat and stumbled upon Santo Grao. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a few cocktails. I loved my passionfruit caipirinha with fresh fruit blended in. The seeds were odd to drink around, but I would order it again in a heart beat. It looked like there was a coffee roaster in the back of the shop, so this must be a good place to come for breakfast, also! Staff was okay as far as Brazilian service goes. read more

One of the best places to get quality coffee in São Paulo, I often end up having more than one cup, and taking a bag of their coffee to make at home. Even though the focus is on coffee, they have a good range of snack foods and desserts, and even a variety of alcoholic beverages. That means that while you may be on your second or third espresso, the person next to you may be sipping champagne. Definitely classier than everyone sucking beverages through a hole in a plastic lid! read more

A nice place with a nice environment and very good service. The food though, which is why I go to places, is good, but too expensive for what they offer. If you are going for the breakfast, you are probably gonna like it more then for dinner. Had breakfast there twice and had the breakfast salad once and the american breakfast the other day. The salad was good, but the american breakfast is not quite close to the ones in the US, but still good. The sausages aren't really link os any of the ones you gonna eat in a typical american place. For dinner, I had a Bruschetta mix and a quinoa salad and both were terrible. The burschetta had no taste and the quinoa salad on the other hand had too much damascus taste. Great place for breakfast! I had the double latte' and huevos rancheros & it was tasty. Being an English-speaker was no problem, a couple of the waiters spoke great English; in fact one of them was born in NJ and attended college in the States.
