It you're from America or Mexico, or have ever had authentic Mexican food in your life, this is not Mexican food, but rather a very poorly researched take on Mexican food. After traveling three weeks in Europe, I just wanted a little taste of back home. The two stars are 1- the margarita was decent and 2 - the service was decent and the decor was well done.
Let's start with the chips and guacamole. The chips ar super salty. The 'salsa' could have just quite literally have been poured over pasta and served as spaghetti. The guacamole tasted like limes and nothing else. There was no salt or pepper or peppers or tomato's or anything. Just lime tasting avocado consistency stuff.
Then my burrito with Mexican rice. Sweet baby Jesus. The rice consisted of bland rice with carrots, corn, and peas. Umm????? Ok
The burrito was beef marinated sooo sweet, I thought I had accidentally ordered a desert. It was tiny compared to its authentic counterpart. There were no beans in it so it was mainly a tortilla with sweet beef and, some cheese, and more carrots. What the heck is with all of the carrots? I don't even believe that carrots are native to that area or are used in any of the dishes.
If you would like some suggestions on actual Mexican Food, then do some research. I wasn't sure if you deserve a participation trophy for trying, or if it's just offensive with the lack of research done.
Anyone on here that says it's good has never had actual Mexican food in their lives. read more
