I am writing this review now as major problems are surfacing in my 40s from negligent ortho treatment. Over the years I have had major issues with several teeth (abcesses, root canals, gum surgery, extractions, implants, jaw bone shaving, fillings, crowns, bridges, posts) but will explain the two (2) most serious issues. Most notably & serious were with the front lower teeth (#24 & #25) as one was pulled to inside edge of jaw bone & other was pulled outside in front of bone. I have had to have gum surgery (skin cut from roof of mouth & sewn onto existing gum in 1997 which was the first of 4 specialist who told me they don't usually give a negative review of a fellow doctor treatment plan specifically but that his work was "negligent & lazy". in 1999-2012, five (5) other bottom teeth were extracted at a cost of $500+ each due to multiple cracked back teeth, abscesses that put me in emergency room TWICE (once in 2006 & this past January 2015) both times the ER called in a dental/specialist & they were honest & gave the opinion it was some of the "most negligent orthodontics" and I also kept hearing the term "4 on-the-floor" which is a basic treatment plan simply choosing 2 teeth from each side just by location. No analysis or expertise--simply lazy & the fastest turn around--with no regards to what is actually the BEST treatment plan for the patient. I had several perfectly healthy teeth that were pulled over some that were showing signs of damage. An alternative choice would have been to extract the less than perfect teeth & maybe it would increase my treatment 5 more visits & since he was getting paid for the plan not # of visits it would be more work for him but instead he caused damage with his complete disregard for the future health of my teeth & seemed to just finish patients treatment plans quickly & cost effectively for his benefit. I have heard the "4 on the floor" from my family dentist, gum surgeon, maxillofacial dds that removed the 5 previous bottom teeth, ER doctors after infections/abscesses. The cost to my health & repairing treatment is immeasurable. I have literally spent tens of thousands on repairing C- work. I have worked w attorneys for 15+ years and have considered attempting to get reimbursed for the repairs, expensive surgeries. This month I travelled with a family member to Los Algodones Mexico on a dental adventure to get the "all on 4" implants done and had the last nine bottom teeth extracted, titanium implants & fix the bone most of the damage caused by Dr. Gregory Jackson's negligent actions. 41 with lower fixed dentures & the past 20 years of dental issues probably wasn't the best treatment plan. I would appreciate an apology more than he would know and I hope he learned from his mistakes. Again, I have been told by 4 different dentists in different offices at different time periods use the words "bad", "negligent", "lazy" & other words along those lines. He has some great forward thinking ideas on oral care, plus he's just a really interesting person to talk to. He's got me flossing every day and it really pays off when I go for a cleaning. All visits are pain free and his hygienists are thorough and pleasant. His practice is sort of tucked away in a quiet corner of Burr Ridge, so you might not find him unless you were looking for him. Paull Gossett has been my dentist for over 30 years and he now also takes care of my kids. He is running a business and will request xrays and treatments but you have every right to decline them. I have never had an issue with him and he has saved me and my kids a ton of money without having to get them braces. He has always been open and honest, with suggestions on what I can do...which all are appreciated. I would recommend him to anyone and he has a great staff as well.

The receptionist was very warm and friendly and walked me through the paperwork, and their office vibe was very relaxing! My sister thankfully found Dulce Dental and had nothing but good things to say, so on Thursday morning after the dentist who put me through so much distress with not one but three failed crowns, I called Dulce Dental, they got me in on Saturday and I had the most thorough exam ever. And even though I need to see a specialist, I got more answers than I have in the last 5 years. Dr. Melissa's bedside manner is top tier -- she took her time, didn't rush me, didn't minimize my pain, she was kind and empathetic and, most importantly, she was transparent in telling me that my implant needed a surgeon. I was strung along for years at my last dentist and in one appointment, she explained why I was in constant pain and she referred me to someone who can help me. The staff in the front and the back are very kind, professional and very calming. I was in tears walking in and walked out feeling hopeful.
