Cute barbershop. The owner was nice. Came here for my 5 year olds cut. The person cutting my son's hair was not the nicest, kinda rude actually. I had to ask him to not scare my child. But that's my fault, I think that they don't do children's hair (I assumed they did since there was a few kids in the photos.) Whoops! So just don't come here with children :).. otherwise it's a great spot. The haircut looks very nice. And it's very affordable. I just wish I had brought more cash so I could have tipped. I figured I could pay by card and was going to leave a tip that way. So make sure to bring cash!! read more

From the chill employees, classic chairs and furniture, and even the rocking chairs out front these guys have nailed the classic barber vibe! Wow! The Barber Shop we needed! Takes the idea of a classic barber shop -- chairs, clippers, and mirrors -- and spices it up with a sharp, pepper-hot, super modern take on a haircut joint. These guys are great! They've only been in business a few months at this location, but I got a feeling they're going to be the number one place in the area for cuts, shaves, and "I'm on my way home to Baltimore, so clean me up a bit" pop-ins. Professional work, great attitudes, and a sense of humor work strongly in their favor. For the few minutes I was there, it felt like I was hanging out with the crew. The Avengers of haircuts? Maybe so. These guys are COOL. I mean, one of them is rocking a waxed, curled moustache from like, 1887 (forgot your name, dude). I love this barbershop! Tina - the owner - she's great with people and kids. It's a very family oriented and respectful environment. No cursing allowed. I would recommend to book an appointment through the Booksy app, as the shop is pretty busy, especially on the weekends. I walked into the barbershop without an appointment. And I asked if anybody could take me at the moment because I didn't have an appointment. Right after I said that nobody responded to me and they were just looking at me with rude stares for about 10 seconds until I said "excuse me hello". Then the one in the back corner decided to say "excuse me did you just say hello" then I said "yeah" . She then said "do you talk to everybody that way" telling me that I am being rude. Then proceeded to say "I don't like the way you talk". So now not only did I get ignored for 10 seconds while people are staring at me with judgmental looks. But then I get called rude by I believe the owner of the place. So I left and took my business elsewhere. It's a shame because the last time I was here I liked my haircut so much that I left the guy a tip that was twice the amount of what I paid for my haircut. From the outside, was expecting a run-of-the-mill barber shop, but I saw I was wrong as I stepped in. Warm music and friendly attitude filled the air, and the environment was picturesque. I had a great conversation with my barber and some of the other barbers there, and saw a great connection between employee and customer as I got a great cut. After arriving 15 minutes early for my online appointment, then getting seated in my chair 10 minutes late (that's "normal" and I'm ok with that) the barber went out back, I sat in my chair for another 20 minutes. Truly as good as it gets! Sapia's is family friendly but fun as hell. Plus- they can all cut. Def make an appt on setmore- makes things so much easier. People come from pretty far to get a cut from Tina so sometimes there's a wait. It's so hard to find a diverse shop that can cut ALL types of hair and make ALL people feel welcome. My 1.5 year old son needed a proper cut so I called around to a few hairdressers that I knew to set something up but I wasn't too excited about dealing with the tears and stress of getting him use to the buzzer etc. my friend has two older boys and then of me she found this really cool barber just up the street and raved about the service. I decided to check them out on a whim and fell in love. We had to wait because they were poppin but it was worth it!
