Have never had a problem with this barber shop, been coming here for years- except now? My boyfriend has suffered from psoriasis for his entire life, has always went in for a quick fade & line up; and today they decided they would completely play on his head with the trimmers. We're lucky his hair is long and can cover how UNEVEN and CHOPPY this "fade" is. On top of things, he felt obligated to tip- 30$ total for an absolutely hack job. Worst haircut of my life, going to take a good 3-4 months to grow back and be fixed. I will never return. Was supposed to be a simple fade with a hard part to help it stay in place all day. While I don't get it colored anymore, I still go there for a haircut. Prices are very reasonable. I feel any of the barbers/hair technicians would give you very great results. As a long time local, I went to this "barber" shop for the first time the other day. Upon entering I noticed that one of the barbers in the rear was finishing up so I was pleased there wouldn't be a wait. I explained to the barber what I was looking for and, in between conversations she had with the other barbers, she asked me a few questions about my cut. I asked for a trim but closer on the side and she got started. I noticed that she was using equipment that had not been cleaned since the previous customer, but she didn't quit "yacking" with the other barbers so I could get a word in. When she finished I put my glasses on and was surprised how short she had cut my hair and how dirty the shop was. Fortunately my hair will grow out but this barber should pay attention to what she is doing with her customer and quit talking with others non-stop while cutting hair............hopefully, the owner will discuss the need to focus on the customer and show them how to clean the shop and sterilize equipment they are using. First visit, Julie cut my hair beautifully. NEXT VISIT, I Went in for a TRIM. AMBER CHOPPED MY HAIR INTO LAYERS! She literally tells me after she did it. I have never cried at a salon, until now. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIRCUT HERE!! I've been there several times and each time show a reference and emphasize I don't want them to touch the top. I've been twice said don't touch the top at all and both times they cut the top. I even show reference photos with longer hair on the top purposely and they still cut it. The first one I didn't say anything but the second time she explained she knew what I was going for (it was very much not what I was going for). They don't listen to customers, and just assume without taking the client into consideration. It been 2 months since then and I just cut my hair myself at this point because if it turns out bad I could blame myself and not the lack of consideration for the client. Similar things have happened to other clients judging by other reviews, they don't listen to the clients at all and rather focus on conversation. read more

My sons barber moved away so i thought i would look for a place closer to my new home. After doing some research i found Kenny here and he did a great job w my sons hair. My son has really thick hair and loves a good cut and fade. Kenny was a cool guy and he was chatting w my son alot so that gave him him extra cool points for my son. We have found our new Barber. Went there for the first time yesterday and couldn't be happier. I got a fade and beard trim, Kenny did an excellent job. Even got a compliment on the clean beard line that night from a complete stranger. Also took my son who has a long hair style and one of the ladies there, I can't remember her name, shortened it in back nicely and trimmed it. The barbers all take their time and don't rush, and are fun to talk to and personable. Will definitely go back. Oh and the prices are great for the time, care, and quality of the service! read more

New in town we needed a clean up. Street parking. Take a number as you enter and wait. A stylist is on their way to you. We had the male barber who has been their since 1980something. Knew his stuff. Perfectly blended and a neck shave too. Offered a nice aftershave. The barber was friendly and talkative. $10. Off we went. We will DEFINITELY return. Love this place. I'm done with this place and will never be back. Debs cut my hair and literally sliced the back of my neck with the razor. I walk out bleeding and she has this big smile on her face about it. On top of it she was very sloppy. The inconsistency of the barbers in this shop is ridiculous too. They'll stall to not cut your hair and I get my haircut the same way and each time it comes back different. Multiple barbers have cut my hair here. The only one to do a good job was Paula. And to the ones with many years of experience you shouldn't have to keep being corrected on how to cut hair and get an attitude about it. Just by waiting in line I've witnessed this. One of the worst haircuts I have had. The barber was the second chair on the left upon entering. I told him do not cut it short. I wanted a scissors cut around each ear and a square-off on the back. That's it. I got scalped. What don't barbers or hairstylists understand about "DO NOT CUT IT SHORT!" I don't care what the cost is, just do what I want done. Matter of fact, the barber gets full price no matter how little or much he or she cuts off. It's terribly frustrating. Time spent waiting for your number called enjoy the signs and posters. Great price and value. Early in the day they are packed but later in the say it's walk in and sit down or your cut. 07/20/18 I just got back from the Palm Harbor Barber Shop this rainy Friday morning. As usual, I had waited a few weeks too long before finally getting my haircut. I have very straight hair which will pop straight up if you cut it too short. In other words, it's a pain in the butt for most barbers to cut. I usually wait for one particular barber, however he was already with a customer with another customer waiting. I didn't want to wait that long so I opted for the next available barber. A few minutes later a young black lady came forward from the back room. I sat in the chair and politely told her what to watch out for with my hair. With a friendly smile she acknowledged my concern. For the next 20 or so minutes she used only a pair of scissors, a comb, brush and a spray bottle of water to work on my hair. She had a quiet confidence about her that soon had me feeling relaxed. After she finished, she swiveled my chair towards the mirror. I was very happy with the result. Every hair on my head seemed to be in its natural place without using gel or other sticky products. A great hair shop just got even better with her addition. read more
