We had dinner at this intimate restaurant while staying at Borgo Santo Pietro back in October for my husband's birthday. The restaurant was cozy and intimate with crackling wood burning fire and an incredibly romantic vibe. Service was as you would expect for a Michelin starred restaurant as was the food.
For dinner my husband opted for the land menu while I opted for vegetarian. I am not vegetarian but when possible we order two different tasting menus so that we are able to try as many dishes as possible. Our favorite courses were the pasta courses. The mushroom barley, raviolo, rabbit tagliatella and supplemental truffle pasta courses were all perfectly seasoned and al dente with some eclectic flavor combinations that we loved. While the pasta was my favorite I also really loved the other vegetarian dishes.
This was truly a master class in farm to table dining and would be so excited to dine here again. read more
