The bad - Friendly staff but not exceptionally helpful. I was led into the room and instructed on what to do, but the girl said she'd be back to help Velcro my arms and never returned. I noticed after my hour that there was a new girl on staff so I guess mine was in a hurry to leave :-/ There's a TV in the room but I don't know if it's operable, never had the chance to ask. Be prepared to keep yourself occupied. An hour of intense sweat with nothing to focus on but walls leaves you bored faster than you'd hope. Also my mistake though, I should have brought a book. Supposedly you can adjust the heat while you're in there, I wasn't shown. Next time I'll just have a lot of questions that I'm sure will be answered, I just didn't know what to ask ahead of time.

I just don't understand why it was necessary to turn me away. It would have MADE my week to get in there for a pick-me-up. I don't get too many of them these days. I feel bad even writing this review but I was so shocked by how I was treated and it really made an already difficult day even worse. I hope next time the person working will think twice before doing this to someone else. I know it seems like something small. I understand young staff may still be learning, but basic customer service was clearly lacking. While I was signing forms and not feeling well, the employee upsold my daughter to a more expensive package and added lotion and eyewear without clearly explaining pricing. The total came to over $180. At no point were prices clearly reviewed before charging. A few days later, my daughter went back for a 12-minute session, but the bed shut off after about 7 minutes. Her friend in the waiting area confirmed the timer did not reflect the full time. When she questioned it, the staff response was dismissive and unhelpful. After we called, they gave her a free session, but the way the situation was handled afterward was completely unacceptable. When my daughter returned, the manager was waiting for her and confronted her in front of other customers. She told her "your dad called this morning," said "this can never happen again," and told my daughter she had "put the company at risk" and that corporate was reviewing camera footage. My daughter is 17 years old. She should never be spoken to like that, blamed, or intimidated, especially without a parent present. The tone was accusatory and completely inappropriate. Between the rude and dismissive staff, lack of transparency with pricing, and the way a minor was treated, this was a very negative experience. With the amount of tanning salons in our area, we will absolutely not be returning to this beach bum location.

And it was just a screen in front of the front window where everyone could see in when you moved around the screen. Im not prude but it was still annoying. -I asked for a light brown NO orange or red tone. While it went on nice no smell, what developed was so stinky (I know it's a chemistry thing but this one was super pungent) and SO orange. My feet and hands looked so streaked the next day I had to scrub. Shout out to the loofa at my hotel. There was a place I went to for years in Lincroft that used green in their formula so it would help pull the red out, I was so orange with this formula, streaky and stinky still on day three is was annoying and uncomfortable -this might be a uber driver/shore thing but the address took me to 3 mins away so it's location is a pain I would go back if they could promise another color that leans brown but maybe on a day when it's not so hectic.
