Constant communication during rigging as it relates to battery location, etc... Full tank of gas, ropes, bumpers and safety gear all included. Sara Bay Marina had a Cobalt we were looking for all over the country. Unfortunately, the salesperson for this boat was unprofessional and seemed to be bothered by customers. He was abrasive and we even had a surveyor quite on us in the middle of the survey after the salesperson spoke to him. We decided to fly from Texas to be there with the 2nd surveyor. Unfortunately, we arrived a few minutes later than the surveyor and the salesperson had started to intimidate the surveyor already, as the boat was generally in a somewhat neglected maintenance and appearance state. We ultimately decided to purchase the Cobalt. After all outstanding invoices were settled, the salesperson requested to cover additional fees that were never mentioned before, in order to release the boat. Throughout the process, the salesperson also spoke badly about the seller, which is highly unprofessional. When we arrived back in Sarasota to take delivery, the salesperson did not greet us or speak with us although he was in the office. Instead, the General Manager, Alex, took charge and we finally were treated with respect and excellent customer service. If it were for Alex, this review would show 4 or 5 stars. Without Alex, negative five stars seem appropriate. A terrible experience until the last minute when Alex took over. I don't wish for anybody to have that experience when buying a boat, you are really excited about. read more

What a great staff!! We needed to dock our jet skis for the week, and Jason helped us when no one else would. Then, when we needed a few minor repairs, he and his staff helped us, again. I highly recommend this marina. It was easy in and out and a secure slip. read more

Just called to get a quote on boat storage and the woman I spoke with was quite rude. Additionally, I was calling to get a price for indoor boat storage and at the end she told me that there is a 2-4 year waiting list. That would have been good information to have up front. Otherwise your just a minion with a don't bother me attitude. Seriously please go buy from someone that genuinely appreciates your business and you as a valued customer. My sister and I went to the marina to look at boats and possibly buy. One gentleman that worked there asked us if we had any questions as he was walking by us with hamburger buns. We said yes we do and he said great and kept on walking. There was at least 4 employees bbq and just left us standing there without helping us. We are buying a boat within the next week but will never purchase from there as they left us standing and didn't help us while the were bbq by the water. We had cash to buy a boat had we found one we liked. Good luck buying a boat from them with there crappy sales people that were there on Saturday the 12th of October. read more

I have to tell you that my opinion of Sara Bay is as good as it gets. I live in Chicago and keep my boat in Tampa. I've had several issues with the boat when I have visited. These guys have moved heaven and earth to get me back on the water as quickly as possible. One day they called all a 1/2 dozen parts distributors to locate a rare part and had it flown in, and installed the next day. Tim, is the supervisor of the shop and a wealth of knowledge! Tim identified some real problems I had with the hull and recommended (for the major body work) that I take the boat to the original mfg rather than trying to beef up his bill with fiberglass work that might not look as good. I deeply respect that! No one I trust more than Sara Bay for servicing my boat in Tampa Bay Area! read more
