Dr. Norris is the most caring and thorough doctors I've ever encountered. My son has been seeing her since 2018 (he is now 7) for digestive issues. During our first appointment, we sat with her to discuss his whole health history and all my concerns. Every appointment thereafter, I felt like she really knew and understood him. The lab tests we've done were very comprehensive and she took the time to explain the results carefully. I better understand gut health (and it's importance!) because of her. She is very knowledgable about both natural and conventional supplements and medicine. I've never felt rushed or uncomfortable around her, like I have with other doctors. Every appointment, we've left with a clear treatment plan and next steps. I also saw her earlier this year when I was having some health issues of my own, mainly due to pandemic stress. Just as with my son, she took the time to know my health history and develop a treatment plan with supplements and lab tests. She is an expert on women's health, and I appreciated her insight on seed cycling and adrenal issues. As she transitions to mainly telehealth, I intend to continuing see her for my health needs. Dr. Norris is phenomenal! We feel so blessed to have found her. My little man is on the spectrum, she is incredible with him. She will get down on the floor with him, get animated, follow his lead, or do whatever needs to be done, to ensure he is comfortable and she is able to exam him. Everyone at MountainView are so friendly! I'm used to assembly line medicine for primary care where the nurse just rooms you, squeezes your arm (aka vitals), and you're left alone until the doc makes his 2 minute visit where most of the time they're looking at their computer screen, at the ready to write prescriptions for any symptom. I can honestly say you'll never have that experience with MountainView, their doctors do all the work from vitals to 30-45 minute consultations, originally scheduled for only 30 minutes. They like to focus on the problem causing the symptoms rather than the symptoms themselves. I would honestly recommend Dr Norris and her colleagues at MountainView, they're wonderful intelligent people. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Norris for about 6 months now after repeated visits to conventional medical services (over a year and a half) failed to address my recurrent yeast infections, weird periods and chronic pain from interstitial cystitis. Dr. Norris has gone above and beyond, being willing to answer my frequent questions by email and helping me figure out affordable treatments. My chronic pain is now under control with the regimen of herbs and vitamins she prescribed me and she's working with me to address the yeast infections/hormone imbalance. Dr. Norris has a strong knowledge of her materials and much more overtly scientific approach/thought process than I have seen in other naturopaths. Her ideas about what herbs work are all founded in an understanding of human biology that she is happy to explain and her youth, personal dedication and enthusiasm for her work seem to contribute to her putting much more energy into my case than other docs I've had previously. I was suffering with what one of the East Bay's 'best' dermatologists called 'eczema'. there were painful sores and lumps on my palms, and I work with my hands. I was told no-one knows where it comes from, that there is an epidemic and that there is no cure - just to take steroids and smear commercial petroleum cream on. Suffer forever, basically, and pay the bill. This was determined in a 10 minute visit. So, I turned to naturopathy, having had some success there in Europe in the past. I sought Dr. Knuth's help, having read good things about her on the internet. It was one of the better decisions I've made in my life. After thoroughly looking into my life (yes, a 2-hour meeting), Dr Knuth came up with a three-pronged approach - relieve the suffering, search for the cause, cure it. Wow, what a concept, relieving pain AND healing! Dr. Knuth delivered. My suffering was lessened in a day or so, and the 'incurable eczema' has been cured, it seems, all with botanicals and other non-intrusive, non-poisoning medicines. Even other issues were solved with the same treatment. There are not words to describe how happy I am to have found Dr. Knuth and have her as my doctor. I recommend her very highly, and I have never done that before for a doctor in the US. Oh, Dr. Knuth....what can I say that hasn't already been said. After the birth of my 2nd child I started suffering from eczema. HORRIBLE pain on my arms, constant itching which developed into a staph infection. I went to see my primary care doctor (lovely person), and was put on steroids and antibiotics (to cure the infection).....3 times over the course of 9 months. This is the last thing I wanted to be doing as a nursing mama. Needless to say that the medical route didn't help me. I went to go see Dr. Knuth as an alternative. Whew. She listened to me, took the time to ask me questions and get to know me, looked at my health history, ordered specific blood work and came up with a diagnoses that ultimately resolved my eczema-WITHOUT steroids and antibiotics. Dr. Norris is a wonderful and extremely competent doctor. She doesn't hesitate to explain things in a way that makes sense to the lay person and often does so without prompting. That said, she's also happy to answer questions. She clearly wants her patients to have a full understanding of their health and how to preserve it.
