I was so afraid of glare making everything look awful. I'm so glad I found Ashley! She is an incredibly talented photographer with an artist's eye for details. Our pictures are fantastic, especially the photos of the tanks. Ashley uses top-of-the-line equipment, and brings a lighting assistant, as well as simply knowing her profession incredibly well. I'm also very glad that Ashley includes an engagement photo session in her packages. We weren't sure if we wanted to do one, but again, Ashley's experience here was invaluable. The engagement photo session let us get to know her, and helped us practice posing so that it was effortless on the big day. The pictures were promptly delivered on a personal website and a flash drive, and I couldn't be happier with them! We will be getting an album designed by Ashley as well, and I cannot wait!

We had never taken…read moreany sort of professional pictures before and we can both be pretty awkward in front of the camera, so we were pretty nervous going into it at first. Amy's kind and bubbly personality made us feel comfortable and forget about the camera. She gave us good direction without giving us too much direction at the same time. We didn't really have any idea of how to pose, but she walked us through and gave us different ideas. She let us be natural with each other and she caught such great moments of us together. She was professional, friendly, and her photos were the best pictures of us I've ever seen. Christine clearly has technical know-how and a creative eye. I must start saying that this is the first negative review that I've ever wrote in my entire life…read morebecause I'm not the kind of person that likes to risk other's people job and business but since the photographer Christine Eckstein did everything in her hands to make my life miserable during the time she provided her services, I'm writing about my awful experience so that other brides won't suffer and be dissapoited the way I am. Sadly, you will never truly know how painful, stressful, consuming and frustrating has been working  with her but I'm going to try to summarize the reasons why I'm so unhappy with her work and how dreadful my experience has been: 1. She always had a "no" or a "but" to my requests, arguing with me all the time and saying that she has her own way of doing things. It was very clear for me from the beginning that her ego wasn't going to let me get to her and make her listen to what I wanted and expected from her services.   2. I bought so many props that don't even appear on the pictures because of the angles in which she took them and because she never told us that we where blocking them most of the time. 3. In most of the pictures she took pictures from my back or of my face covered by my hair while my husband's face is the main focus, making me look like some random woman.   4. She didn't edit most of the pictures and the ones that she did was obvious that she doesn't know anything at all about editing.   5. She doesn't have imagination and creativity. She took all the pictures from the same angles, she is not willing to walk around and look for different perspectives. All of my pictures from the ceremony were taken from the back and showing our backs. 6. She takes hundreds of pictures and sends you just a few because according to her she didn't like them. A wedding is a once in a lifetime event and now I would never ever have all the pictures I wanted to have from that day. 7. I gave her a list with all the objects that I wanted her to photograph and she didn't follow it. 8. There are pictures where our eyes are nearly closed. Making us look drunk or in drugs. I really doubt that that was the only or the best take that she shoot at those particular moments, but she chose to send them anyway instead of sending her best shots. Understand that I'm not happy or feel any kind of pleasure writing this review but she was wasting my money from the beginning for not being respectful, profesional or faithful to my requests. Like I said before, a wedding is a once in a lifetime event and no bride should be stressed, disapointed or sad on her wedding day due to a mediocre photographer.  Christine Eckstein it's just a little girl playing with a fancy camera.

We will be hiring them for my sisters wedding, our future baby shower and our kids portraits!! I hope we never move so that they are always our photographers for every event in our lives. Outside of having amazing photography skills, they are so personable and I never realized how important the engagement photo shoot is. You really get to know your photographers and they explain to you why they choose to do certain poses or angles. In fact I got to know them so well that at my wedding when I was tired of smiling for pictures, I would take a break with them and just chit-chat. Love you guys so much :)

Amy has the uncanny ability to direct crowds (especially critical for an Indian Wedding) and was able to consistently put my nervous wife at ease. We clicked with them instantly and in my opinion, that's the most important thing when it comes to choosing a photographer. Their style fit perfectly with what we wanted, a photojournalistic recap of our wedding and that's exactly what we got. Everything was candid and felt natural (rather than forced portraits...). We could barely spot Srinu and the crew in the crowd but they got ended up getting every shot that we could have hoped for and all of them were fantastic quality. The video was top notch too - they were even able to create a quick wedding recap video to play at our reception on the same day (which got rave reviews from our guests). Considering how busy they were with all of their bookings during wedding season, their communication was remarkable. Amy usually responded to our inquiries within minutes and never left us hanging. They were especially flexible in providing us with a photo booth that we really wanted when it was a service they typically didn't offer - it ended up being a huge hit and is just one example of how they go above and beyond for their clients. Amy and Srinu were a true joy to work with and we'll definitely be using their services in the future. I'd highly recommend them to anyone for wedding, portrait or general photo/video services. They're a bit on pricier side but you really get what you pay for and you will certainly not be disappointed.
