I believe the focused pulses of the system allowed my foot injury to heal while still allowing me to perform my regular activities and continue to work. In addition, the staff at Great Neck Podiatry Associates are caring and professional. They can be seen to take extra care by keeping within the current guidelines for safety with regards to COVID-19. Temperatures are taken at every visit and the number of people in the waiting room is kept to a minimum.

Let's start with the building, which is the typical ritzy Park Avenue doctor's office in an apartment building. Doormen, marble floors in the lobby, carpeted walls, columns....you name it. Thumbs up to the doormen--they let you through without a hassle, make you feel quite welcome. The office is a trip. The waiting room was clearly someone's living room a long time ago, and there's been very little done to disguise that, right down to the stereo speakers that are never playing anything, and look like they're 50 years old. I like that the office staff is pretty far back from the actual waiting room, and I'm sure the staff appreciates that as well. That way, if you're sitting and at all nervous about why you're there, at least you don't have the added worry of having to watch frenzied medical office workers getting into phone disputes with insurance companies, etc etc etc. I'll stop there, actually, although to be brief, Dr. Ira Friedman is one of the coolest surgeons I've met, and he does great work.

However, I never received a call from their office. In that time that had passed (1 week), my physical therapist had reached out to Dr. DiFazio directly for a follow up discussion on what he had found to be going on with my knee. Even after 3 attempts, Dr. DiFazio had not returned one of the phone messages left by my PT. I also had reached out during that time, Dr. DiFazio neglected to return my call as well. Quite honestly, I don't know if he's a decent doctor or not. Because he hadn't found any real issues with my knee, I felt like he was trying to pacify me with conducting more tests - of which never got scheduled because his office fell short. Additionally, if a patients PT reaches out to you in addition to the patient, you SHOULD return the calls! I'm truly disgusted by whats transpired with this practice. I'll never use a physician in OSSM, there are far too many good Orthopaedics in Fairfield County and NYC.

After that there was a change in the office staff. A number of people were all of the sudden no longer there. The next day I got a call for scheduling and had my surgery. That was 4 years,ago. Since then I had more then one doctor comment on what a good job the doctor did. All I can say is it have very little pain in it now. This is from someone who walked for work for the last 30 years and returned to my job after the surgery. Bodytite Both Arms Bad Results - Dr. Won't Correct Done…read more3/9/19 developed wrinkling of left arm. Right arm has a 3 inch scar and redundant overhanging skin/fat. Appears that Dr. Miller did not treat equal areas on both sides. Following up in October 2019, he offered 3 microneedling treatments and to revise the right arm BodyTite without charge. Microneedling didn't seem to help. I wanted to proceed with the second BodyTite but he changed his mind, refusing to do BodyTite again and offered discounted Morpheus. His emails try to justify that I signed a waiver (doesn't everybody?), results vary and he states BodyTite is a one time procedure (true, if it's done correctly). Do not get this procedure at this office. Dr. is not willing to take responsibility for bad results and is looking to profit from bad results.

I had fever and flu symptoms and had had a sedrate count of 44. He never looked at my doctors fax of my cellulitis and her report. I was shivering from fever and he seemed surprised and said maybe I had allergies! After I told him I had a 44 sedrate count he added a sedrate test to the blood tests which ALL said allergies! He is am infectious disease doctor and I wanted to know if I still had cellulitis or of my high sedrate and flu symptoms were another illness and to get treated and get well. I was ill two and a half weeks. Well they called me the next day and said I was healthy. I asked what my sedrate level was and she put me on hold and said 60 which is pretty high for infection or inflammation! My husband called back and he also was told it was 60. For two days we were told the doctor would call and he NEVER did. I googled him and saw one review said he killed a patient...another said he would not release records. This was a horrible experience! The staff loses faxes...forgets to give the doctor reports and the doctor should not be practicing medicine. Stay away.
