After a single one hour session, the tremors were reduced by 80 - 85%% , and my taste and smell returned almost immediately. First of all DEWEY IS A TOP NOTCH ACUPUNCTURIST! YOU WILL NOT GET BETTER CARE, bedside manner, and just an overall caring experience. He literally is the best! Here is what really upset me and made me sour towards this business; since I didn't agree to get a nerve blocking procedure/elective surgery, they are refusing to provide me any additional care. (No more acupuncture) They claim to be a "wellness and pain" facility but it seems to me you need to play by their rules in order to get treatment. I was instructed that I needed to follow their protocols, surgery or PT before I can continue treatment (acupuncture). That is in other words telling me what to do with my body and not what I know is good for my body. This left a real bad taste in my mouth. I would have never thought that a "wellness and pain" place would tell me how to manage my pain and what I'm comfortable with especially that I have been progressing slowly in the positive direction. The PA was only doing her job but who is she and Dr. Molina too, to tell me what is working for me??? In conclusion, I recommend DEWEY, but if their dictation or suggestions are not taken, they cut services off to you. Completely unacceptable especially when you're there to feel well and painless!

I exchanged a few emails to find an available time, and I got an appointment for the following week. I received an email confirmation the day before. When I arrived, the administrative staff told me that the appointment was not on the schedule, that Dr Levi was not there yet, and that she already had an appointment at the time she was going to arrive. I showed the administrative staff the email coming from the email address drlaurenlevi@xxxxx but she just told me that this was not a firm appointment if I did not receive a call from them. I understand how this kind of situation happens but it was terribly managed. I have lost 1h of my time. They made me feel like it was somehow my fault. They did not offer to reschedule.

The doctor created stress and concern from the doubts behind what they thought the problems were. I was not even evaluated, and my appointment lasted less than 15 minutes. After being rushed into receiving an mri, it seemed to be my problem after waiting a week for its authorization according to the doctor. My new orthopedist told me everything in my MRI was standard, and non surgical treatment was required. HBVJ told me I would need surgery after a ten minute visit, and then tried doubling down on it after seeing the results of the mri. I understand there are difference in opinions amongst doctors. My frustration is how the doctor went about handling my situation. It seemed the doctor acted vindictive once questions began to be asked, and came off as unprofessional. I would not feel comfortable coming back.
