The couple who run this place are…read moreused to dealing with mentally challenged children on a daily basis and can't seem to understand that the lies and tricks that they use on the children, the games of distraction and manipulation and various other forms of control tactics that allow them to have their way with kids, are not necessarily appropriate in an adult arena, especially in this case where people who are sometimes very mentally fragile come here for comfort and support, and trust this couple to lead them. The wife runs around covering her ears and screaming "That's my trigger! That's my trigger...! " whenever she hears a noise or if she just doesn't want to be bothered with you at that moment! She just came in off the street. I don't think she covers her ears and demands attention like this when she's at the grocery store, or in other surroundings. I've been outside with her, and there were many other "noises" out there and she ignored them, but in this space, she acts out her dramatics and makes everyone else in the room participate in that! The "husband" is a female to male in transition, and has convinced himself that screaming, cursing and using many other forms of hyper masculinity is necessary and appropriate in this environment, simply because he's in charge and can do whatever he wants! Recently, I needed a support letter. They refused to give me something satisfactory and insisted that it would go against HIPPA laws! Ridiculous! Then they came back and insisted that they can show me some of their "rules" on their computer where it says that they can't write a letter on my behalf even at my request that would speak about why I was in this support group, even if it's only reciting what I've told them. No one had asked them to bear witness to anything. I wasn't asking anything more. They didn't expect that I'd call their bluff and accept their invitation to see what they said they'd pulled up on the computer - but I did call their bluff! They could never produce it because it was all a lie! Day after day I asked if they'd found it, but they were "busy". Here we go with those games that work with kids. I'm not anybody's child. I'm 60 years old, and I'm now watching them again try to convert the conversation into....., now we're waiting for some "imaginary" man to write something better for me. Of course, that never materialized either! I wasn't letting them get away with that little game of distraction. I reminded them that "I'm" still waiting to see what they said they were going to show me on the computer about their bylaws, but now, as another attempt at distraction and deflection, they begin attacking my character by suggesting that "I" should be worried about somebody blacklisting me for having so many problems wherever I go! I said, For what? Why would I be blacklisted for holding people accountable for abusing me or discriminating against me? Now, they're throwing in my face the 3 incidents that I had shared with them here in this "support group!" I'd shared with them that I'd gotten attacked by a security guard at a local chain store and that another customer called the police and the guard was arrested and taken to jail. I'd also shared that I'd been sexually assaulted by a counselor of over twenty years, and that I'd also been discriminated against and denied employment with a city agency because I'm disabled and that the supervisor had even gone so far as to lie on paper - but I have the evidence that she lied! Why would this "support group leader" throw that all up in my face as if the victim is at fault, especially when all I was doing was calling them out on their lies, insisting that they produce what they'd said they had, but they couldn't. They lied. They lied, lied, again, and then lied some more! Then to attack your members character just to try to change the subject and try to run away when you're caught is absolutely outrageous! Next thing I know, I'm getting cussed out, and told to GTFOOH and more! Naw...., this is not a safe space for anybody! No wonder hardly anybody comes there! E eryday, there is "check in." People either show up and hang out, or log in on line. So many times. Nobody had come but me. Nobody logged in. It's sad. The city could use more support groups for our community - just not this mess! I was horrified. I was so disappointed. I've never been back. Run! Not a safe place at all.

We had our kids attend Toddler University Preschool, LLC for about 5 years. The director/owner is friendly and kind offering a preschool with love and passion like no other! Everything you would want to hear, even offering extra curricular activities like yoga, karate, animal experiences, zumbini, and a big firehouse graduation! My kids had the time of their lives. Creating friendships that last a lifetime. Friendships. Not just between the kids also between the parents. We have met a multitude of people in this business. Where you can message another parent and feel like you have known them your whole life. But something changed. Communication and my kid had meltdowns at drop off, but everything was "fine" when I ask how my child was during the day. But clearly my child did not think so. Being almost the oldest family attending and loyalty means nothing to a small business like this. Receiving a 30 day notice with no explanation (contract says no explanation can be given) other than "personal reasons" came to a shock. I was told to keep personal life and business separate and not let them mix. Payments we made rearly, participated school events, accepting of any changes to policies. There were no issues there. Once I received the 30 day notification (by text), at drop off/pick up I wasn't greeted by the owner anymore. I was greeted by the assistant teachers. I had questions and needed clarification, but I was told not to bring this topic up to her or the assistants (needed to relay messages and was not physically present) and not to reach out to other families because it wasn't "my place." As a mother it is my right to know what is happening with my child in someone else's care and why is it only happening to my child. When you think you know somebody better than your family, it's like getting stabbed in the back with a dagger. It hurts, but time will pass and will heal. After experiencing this. I would highly not recommend Toddler University Preschool, LLC. I don't want anyone experiencing rejection from a caregiver to your child with no explanation of any sorts, regardless of loyalty.

She is now 3 years old and I am so thankful for Ms. Umme and all of the staff because they each prayed a role in my child's life. I am sad that my daughter won't be attending the center anymore due to relocating but I am forever grateful for the time, care , attentiveness and kindness they have entered to my daughter and myself! Please do not send your children here. Staff are mean, they will not call you or tell you if your…read morechild is sick or hurt themselves while in their care. Staff will push them out the door and slam the door on your face. They are racist and sadly more African American children are now attending. Speak with your children if they are attending. I pray they can tell you or express some of the mean things they say to the children.

I have used them twice for short moves, the first move was from one apartment building to another…read more(across the street). This move was a short distance but there were a few flights of stairs. Mr. Hedgepeth was super nice and gave me a few pricing options. I settled on something that was in my budget. For the first move they arrived on time and were finished fairly quickly! The second move was about a mile down the road into my house. Prior to the move, Mr. Hedgepeth came to my home ( wearing a mask and social distancing) to give me an estimate for the move and we were able to schedule the move. He will text but calls for the major details, which is very professional. The day of the move, him and his team arrived on time and worked pretty fast to get everything loaded into his truck. They have furniture covers for the highly breakable items. They also put the large items (beds, dressers, tables) together if needed. Hopefully I won't be moving again anytime soon, but if I needed a moving company , they are the first to be called!

I have to be honest, I really wanted to give this company a fair shot. Years ago I worked for the…read morebest moving company in the area (A-One Moving), I have vast amounts of knowledge about moving. To begin, Ed and his wife are very nice people, all of which I had as an opinion prior to conducting business. I was given a quote of $600 when Ed and his wife first came to my house. The second time, seeing as I'd need to keep my belongings on Ed's truck overnight, the estimate went up to $700. No problem and we set up the move for a Thursday initially 9am. The day prior to the move Ed called to inform me he had to push the time back to 11am. The next day I rented a Spinter Van and loaded with miscellaneous items from my house while I waited. Ed and his crew arrived at 5:40pm! Yes 6 hours past the plan start time. I had to call them twice for updates, I wasn't called until they were 10 minutes away. Upon arrival, Ed asked me "How was I going to take care of them?" I wasn't sure what he meant and with a confused look, Ed made the money gesture with his hand. I told him like any other service he'd be paid at the end of the job. Ed the stated that he needed half to take care of his guys. The next day, around 1pm I was called by Ed to see if 3pm was still good. The original plan was for me to call Ed after my 2:30pm settlement however I was told he needed his truck back. I then rushed to rent a storage unit so I wasn't an inconvenience to Ed's other job. The unit was ready at 2:30pm, I called Ed to inform him of that information and he said he'd be there at 3pm. A good friend of mine sat and waited an hour and a half for Ed to finally show up at around 4:30pm. I had hoped while I was at settlement they would've been done unloading so I could unload the Sprinter Van. Unfortunately I got there shortly after they did and my good friend and I helped them unload into the storage unit. Knowing I had to load items from my van into storage, no space was left at the end and I had to rent another storage unit. I didn't think it would all fit but I had hoped. In the end, everything from Ed's truck didn't fit in the unit as planned and assured by Ed. I approached Ed and ask for a price adjustment since was quoted $700 for the entire move and I had moved 30/40% by myself while waiting for Ed and his crew to arrive. Ed took off $100 and that was to not be discussed further and I was told "normally the price is the price." I thought to myself "I hope normally, you're on time and professIona!" I didn't say that but paid him without tip and went on to move the stuff out of the van. I really didn't want to write this review because I know my experience isn't going to be the same as everyone else's. However, I chose to write this to give feedback for the company as well as potential customers. With this information hopefully the company will make an adjustment and if customers decide to move forward here's a possibility to consider. Thanks! Wayne
