I have sat in on Friday Chapel, and it is uplifting for the soul. I can't speak highly enough regarding Clovis Christian Schools.

First they wanted me to pay a "donation" (bribe) to move my child to kindergarten, I was appalled and immediately moved my child to a Clovis North school 2 blocks from home. My friend's daughter on the other hand was battered and had a black eye and concussion from another student and the school did not inform her at all, her daughter told her when she was picked up from school! She had to call the police and make a report which they said will ne referred to the district attorney for child neglect. Even daycare centers have a mandate to report injuries, this school should honestly be shut down. The diocese does not supervise the principal who is not even on site half the time which was a shock to the diocese who said she isn't allowed to leave grounds without permission, well, she does all the time. If you live in a good school district do not consider sending your child here. They only care about money and using your child to make them more money, wish we never sent our child here.

Once we walk through the main entry, there is a wide open green field and 3 play grounds in sight. It is always a breath of fresh air and every thing I ever dreamed of for my children. I really enjoy that walk to class and every morning we pass through the preschool garden and check on the preschool chickens. The classes are small with two wonderful teachers assigned to each class. These are trauma informed educators that took the time to understand and work with one of my babies that just needed a little bit of compassion and understanding. Any obstacles we have faced have been handled with love and problem solving. Any parent that has experienced the heartbreak of loving a child that just needs grace, will understand how thankful I am to have found Fairmont and all the educators there.

The teachers were lovely and the education was great but having established lifelong friendships is one of the greatest blessings that you can give your children. The education system is designed to send kids to college and grad school if interested. You can literally go from kindergarten through med school building life-long connections and friends. I remember as a child when the developer Del Webb made a large donation for the purchase of the 40 acre campus. Many happy memories among my current Facebook friends from our formative years on spent on campus.

I have been in other districts where you have to ASK for your money back and they try and give you the run around. All the office staff has been incredibly kind even though they are constantly busy. I like that the District officials take time to go to every school. My kids know who their Superintendent is! Each school I have visited in this District has been well maintained. So the word and promise I was given by student services is absolute garbage. People talk so much crap about Fresno Unified and Central Unified when the truth is Clovis Unified school district is an absolute joke! We were on campus today for "Floats with Grandparents". It was a hot day and those root beer floats were very refreshing! Everyone did a good job putting on the event and the kids had fun. Thoughtfully planned to coincide with the school's book fair, so we got to visit that, too! Large, clean campus. Lots of grass and mature trees. All the staff members we interacted with were super nice. And they all knew our grandson. Hmmmm, lol.
