My experience is based on a 30 minute tour only. While we are big fans of the facility, the cleanliness, and the programs they offer - Roxanne (the owner i came to find out) seemed... off. She didn't ask our names, our relation (there were four of us), she didn't introduce herself. She had an incredibly difficult time providing explanations, would give vague detail, followed by "you can read the handbook", and an overall condescending tone when i tried to follow up. The disconnect was very apparent, as my party agreed separately that she was very slow and disoriented. We found her demeanor to be questionable. After discussion, we concluded if we sent our daughter to Bluff View we would be concerned with her stability as owner & admin. Overall, we will be crossing this off of our list for good. Strong recommendation to all new parents to take a tour and go through that.... interesting experience before handing over 250$ for application fee. read more

Absolutely the best preschool in town! The teachers are warm, friendly and competent. My 2 daughters go to Bluff view and they love everything about it. It's a safe place for our little ones and they learn SO much in daily classes! They offer ninja and sign language lessons too which is amazing! Well, they were right! Our little one has attended both the Summer Camp Session ( each week has a different theme) now the regular school year program and I can't say enough how kind, inviting, professional, organized, clean, innovative and diverse Bluff View is. Bluff view is an amazing preschool that really gives your child a great head start for grade school. All three of my kids have attended Bluff View all the way through their kindergarten class. My third is finishing up kinder this June. I am so sad this is our last year at Bluff View, the administration and staff are amazing and feel like family. My son has completed two years of school here along with two summer sessions. We can not express how impressed we continue to be by the teachers and staff, advanced curriculum, and atmosphere BV provides. Everyone is always so welcoming, it's like a giant family - we love it! This is not a daycare - it's a school - big difference from where we attended prior! My son is 4 - he has a very short attention span that makes it difficult for me to do home teaching. The professional teachers at BV have curriculums that, I honestly feel, are designed around each child. His teachers keep him focused on the lessons by changing things up with different learning activities at new stations focusing on the topic of the week. He is excelling in sign language, which there is no way I would of been able to teach him. He loves to show me how he writes his name, knows his ABCs, counts to 100.... the list keeps going. 5 Stars. With both of my kids attending or have attended Bluff View, I can't recommend it more to other families. We're wrapping up 5 years with 2 more to go. As a teacher myself, it is nice to see the attention to children at Bluff View; building strong social and emotion skills, fostering good school disciplines and following an amazing curriculum for ages 2 - kindergarten. Ms. T is dedicated to her staff and the well-being of the students. She is welcoming and encouraging to all kids. Some things that are very important to our family is seeing my kids achieve and excel. At Bluff View, students are monitored through their achievements and pushed beyond or given more time when needed. Conferences are held near the end of school. I love that classrooms are set all year like traditional elementary schools giving kids the time to form bonds with other kids and teachers. Dropping my kids off each day is a blessing knowing that the teachers and aides love being there. My kids love to stay late for extended day. Nothing makes a parent more comfortable knowing their kid loves being at school. The times are very good for working parents as well. My daughter had her first school experience for pre-k at Bluff View. This school is a true gem! Her teacher Mrs. Dodd and all of the teacher aides were absolutely amazing. Bluff View seemed like a great school for My son, good reviews, good atmosphere, as I took a tour I observed the children interacting with one another, I observed the environment, I observed the teachers and staff interacting with the children and each other. Roxanne, the one who gave the tour, assured me she has a strong team. The classes are fairly large. One class in particular (the class my two year old would of been in) got my attention. I was introduced to Ms. Maldano, who was not so warm, she quickly smiled but did not engaged how i wanted her to. I noticed her class was outside on the playground where the children were accompanied by two young aids, while the teacher was inside her class sitting down.The aids were patient, energetic and communicated well with the children. It bothered me that Ms. Maldano was inside a empty classroom while her aids took care of twenty or more young kids. Unacceptable! First her introduction was rude now I was observing her NOT being active with her class. Roxanne, the owner seemed kind but unfortunately the teacher who seemed unhappy to be there would of been my sons teacher. Roxanne please have a meeting with your teachers. Urge them to interact with their students and to partake with activities. I give Bluffview one star due to, things are not always what they seem. Parents please take time and observe. You know the saying its a small the world, my sister in law kids attended Bluffview for a short time, she switched schools because the aids did the teachers work she became upset. I had both my children in Bluff View for 2 years and I can't explain how much I love this school. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Roxanne, the owner, is amazing! She is there everyday making sure everything is running smoothly. The teachers become part of the family. Mrs. Lopez, Ms. McElroy (now Mrs. Haury?) and Mrs. Trogdon are just amazing teachers. We loved everyone of them. The teachers are always there to discuss any of your questions and happy to help. I love being able to drop in at anytime and "spy" on my kids through the two way mirror. The kids loved riding on the train, which was a nice bonus. It was amazing how much they both learned. The sign language and Spanish was a bonus! They would come home and teach me new sign language and spanish word and they really seemed to enjoy it. I recently moved away and I'm having a real hard time finding a preschool to replace Bluff View. Bluff View may be on the more expensive side for Fresno, but is there really a price tag on your children's education and piece of mind that they are a safe environment? read more

I have my 3 years old son goes to Bluff view....I really don't know from where to start, and I am afraid not to give or show my gratitude enough to every single person in this amazing school. I have to start with the managing owner, as I am a strong believer in management and system as a key to success of any business. Roxanne is a role model as a manager, mother , friend, and family member....she is such a great loving mother ....her kindness is all around the place....always the first and last person to come and leave...knows every child well....very elegant, caring, understanding and professional. She effectively orchestrates the school. As for the teachers and their professionalism I can't find enough words to express my respect and appreciation to them. Even if they are not my son's teachers they all know every child, meet them in a loving and caring way...they are happy staff and this again reflects the great atmosphere they work in. The premise itself is spot free, and I literarily mean it! Fun, engaging, inspiring, and always something new. It is like wonderland for kids. Now it comes the turn for the person I love, admire and call the ANGEL miss WHITE the Cubs teacher. I am running out of adjectives to describe the girl. I have never seen in my whole life someone who deals with kids the way I experienced with miss White. She is a role model for my Son. She is very devoted, fun loving, beautiful, and caring teacher. Bluff View does an incredible job teaching, nurturing, and preparing our little ones. As a parent I have confidence in the education my daughter is receiving. They do a great job educating the whole child; academically, socially and emotionally. I appreciate their high standards and the support they provide in achieving them! My husband and I were blessed to have our son enrolled at Bluffview for three years. Our primary concern was taking him from the home daycare he had become so comfortable with, to a school with a structured setting. The staff was so nurturing and knowledgable, that our son didn't skip a beat. He loved Bluffview so much that we kept him there for the summer camp as well, even though my husband and I both have summers off. The rigor of the curriculum is absolutely amazing. The instruction delivered to our son was top rate. Being in educational administration, I'm used to evaluating teachers and writing curriculum. I couldn't ask for a finer foundation for my son's educational career. We decided to enroll our son in Kindergarten at Bluffview. He is now enrolled in Kindergarten a second year in Clovis Unified School District. My son's current kindergarten teacher stated that we certainly did get our money's worth at Bluffview, as our son is at the top of his class and breezing through Kindergarten. He is confident and happy at school and it's because of the preparedness given to him by the fine staff at Bluffview. We owe our son's success to the faculty and staff at Bluffview, and have referred several close friends to them. I have to admit, I cried like a baby at my son's graduation, because I knew it was his last at this fine facility.
