My kids have gone to Clovis Christian on and off since 2016. Clovis Christian is amazing. They mix faith based teaching with legitimate academics. Every year they are in session it gets better and better. The staff is amazing, and the fellow parents are wonderful. This past year our fourth grader went on classroom field trips including the Carmel Mission, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and the San Jose Tech museum. My youngest was on the football team last year. I have sat in on Friday Chapel, and it is uplifting for the soul. I can't speak highly enough regarding Clovis Christian Schools. read more

Prior to putting my two kids in Clovis Christian school I homeschooled them. I put them here because I thought it would be a safe place for them with biblical based standards. The principal, Mrs. Bonjorni is a bully and displays favoritism on how she treats some children. This can be verified by other parents. The children's tablets were not protected from access to inappropriate websites. A boy in my son's class told him about a website and then said don't look it up and out of curiosity he did anyway. I couldn't have been prepared that at a Christian school my son and all the 3rd graders in his class would have unsupervised access to adult websites and than the heartbreak and hard conversations I had to have with my 3rd grader. He was exposed to an inappropriate website at a Christian school with the schools tablets. During Friday freetime he was with a group of boys who also seen the website. One of the kids told his dad who told my son about it and they confirmed the name of the boy who had told him about the website, but parents were never notified of that. As a result some parents assumed his knowledge of the website came from home, which it did not. It was verified by a witness whose dad told the principal about the young boy who told my son about it. Soon after My daughter began to be mistreated by the principal with rude comments. The day before the last day of school Principal Mrs. Bonjorni yelled at my daughter for wearing jeans instead of swim clothes on water day. A teacher let me know about the situation so I went to the school to pick up my kids. I confronted Mrs Bonjorni and that very same day she fired the teacher out of pure evil and retaliation. There is no accountability here, especially since the owner of the school is the principal Mrs. Bonjorni. The port-a potty restrooms were unsanitary. The walls would be smeared with poo and very hot and at times had no toilet read more

This place is joke they purchased portable toilets for kids and they have teachers who aren't credentialed. My kid was way behind once we put him in normal school. Please do your research if you are considering bringing your child here read more

CCS should be ashamed of themself for claiming to give a world class education while my son suffered through school. Missed a diagnosis and a chance to have early intervention all for the sake of my money and offering "fun". You don't vet families coming in and you let in children with severe behavior problems that your teachers have to handle because you offer no supportive staff". read more

If i could i would leave no stars, i would. Pre covid the school was as it was advertised teaching ratios were what the principal went on record stating 16:1...post covid classrooms were packed at well above 20 children, last year being 30! Just unreal. students with behavior issues are allowed to run the classrooms. Bullies were left on campus and continuously picked on my child, with nothing getting done. As a "christian school" the standard should be accountability, however, the loudest parent wins and dictates what is to happen and a sad story gets you hired so they don't loose out on the money they need. It's a scheme to keep the cash flow going and education comes last. Safety issues have been brought up countless times and nothing gets done. It's a scheme. Gossip and who they feel is most loyal is how you rank on their scale of favoritism. Do your research! Ask parents! And choose a different option! read more

My wife and I were really looking forward to getting our kids out of the public school system, and into a faith based program where our kids could excel academically and spiritually. The school itself has some wonderful individuals working there, however it is a complete calamity when it comes to communication and consistency. No one answers the office phone, nor calls back when a message is left. Class communications are inconsistent at best, and it doesn't seem like there is anyone running point for the school to address the lack of transparency and communication. Keeping parents informed in a timely fashion is an obvious low priority item with this school... If I could, I'd get a refund and look into Fresno Christian or Immanuel. read more

UPDATE: Their business department refunded half of the money I was overcharged back. So I was charged one and one-half months of tuition for my daughter to attend 5 days. Clovis Christian Schools is a for-profit business that will take your money. If you withdraw your child from their school mid-year, do not trust what they tell you about future billing. Put a block on your debit or credit card because they may try to continue billing you. Hopefully sharing my experience will help someone else: Clovis Christian Schools charged me for two full months tuition (over $1,000) for only 5 days of school. My daughter attended their school between August 23-27 for which I initially paid $625 (for 1st month tuition, enrollment fee, books). I withdrew my daughter on August 30, by phone, and she returned to public school. On the August 30 call, I asked if I needed to do anything to cancel automatic billing on my debit card for future monthly tuition and the receptionist assured me I would not be billed for a second month. This was not the truth. Clovis Christian Schools debited my card $425 for a second month on September 7, and is refusing to reverse the charge. I already paid tuition for a full month and my daughter only attended 5 days. Since I already paid for three extra weeks, I should not have to pay for an additional month on top of that. read more

Terrible school to send your child if they are diagnosed with Autism. It's like they don't know how to deal with someone on the spectrum. For one instance my son was being singled out by another kid were the kid would tell the teacher that my son had bit him. My son has never been a biter but my son was the one who got written up for it. So if you have a son or daughter with autism don't send them to this school they are not going to thrive. read more

The bad review by Stephen P is ridiculous and absolutely untrue. CC is the least expensive private school in the valley by far because they want it to be accessible to any family who wants to attend. So saying they only care about profit is slander. Sending our kids to clovis Christian has been the best decision we have ever made. (This is our second school year there) These are genuine people who love the Lord and love kids and want to protect them from all the horrible things going on in public schools. They are understanding and supportive of every child's individual needs and learning type. I feel very safe with my kids attending and all the staff goes above and beyond to make school fun for the kids while learning! I can not say enough good things about this school, they have been the biggest blessing to our family! read more

As a Mom, it breaks my heart to see the negative reviews on here because my experience and my daughters experience are completely the opposite! My daughter has attended Clovis Christian Preschool (CCPS) since I had to go back to work when she was 3 months old. It was so hard to leave my daughter in the care of someone else, but the teachers at CCPS made it easy and enjoyable for my family. My daughter is now 4 years old and absolutely loves going to PreK every day. She literally runs into her classroom every morning and I practically drag her off of the playground in the afternoon. Her PreK teachers Ms. Hannah, Ms. Alma and Ms. Katie are warm, welcoming and genuinely care about my daughter and all of the children in their care. I highly recommend CCPS if you are in need of childcare! I would encourage you to take a tour, meet the staff and see for yourself what an amazing school CCPS really is! read more

This school has been a life saver! Back in 2019 I had my son at the school across the street from where I teach, however the pandemic quickly ended that. I work at a public school so I decided to homeschool my son. I was blessed enough to reach out to Clovis Christian from the recommendation of a family friend who sends their three kids there. It was a wonderful decision that continues to benefit my kids in many ways, and most importantly in growing their faith and teaching them more and more about God. I just recently enrolled my daughter in TK and she absolutely loves it!! My son raves about his fifth grade teacher and that she makes every subject fun to learn. Hardly anything is better than making sure your kids have a great education at a place where wonderful relationships are made and Clovis Christian is definitely the place for that. It brought the love of learning back to my son after the pandemic took it away. You can't put a price on your kid's happiness. read more

I love the program at Clovis Christian. They do a lot of hands on activities, lots of painting and sensory play. They have chapel every week and do a great job teaching the Bible. The teachers and staff do an amazing job there. read more

We absolutely love this preschool. They have all been so wonderful with both my kids there! The teachers are wonderful and love your kids as their own. My kids run to their classroom every morning and sometimes don't even want to leave right away when I pick them up. That is very comforting as a mom because you know your children are well taken care of. read more

I do not recommend clovis christian preschool. Some of the teachers are great but the director definitely has her favorites. They have their set ways and are not willing to work with the children on skills they are not so great at. They are very quick to judge and just generally do not take the time or effort to teach. No one expects 2 or 3 year olds to be completely perfect and these people are not willing to spend that time with the kids to help them understand. I will be looking for a more inviting enviornment for my child. And to be completely honest i dont think my child really learned much while at clovis christian. All of the stuff that my child knows was stuff they knew before. read more

Being a Christian, I wanted to send my little boy to this school to better prepare him for preschool. I was completely disappointed to learn that they don't stick to the schedule or have much for the kids to do in the class. A month after I signed a contract they raised everyone's rates which was $75 extra a month for me. There were a few times that I questioned the cleanliness of the facility. There was a time that hand foot mouth disease was going around and it wasn't until a month later that they finally sent a notice home, by this time 3/4ths of the kids were at home. It wasn't until the decline of attendance that they finally deep cleaned. I believe the rule is that once something like hand foot mouth disease is identified, the school is to notify parents within 48 hours. I would walk in to pick up my son at 4 and the room would smell like soiled diapers. Some of my sons clothes would smell like this which totally disgusted me. They only change the children three times a day, which made it very hard for potty training my son. About mid March all the classes changed and the younger children came up into my sons class and the ones who were potty trained moved up to another class. My son, being the youngest one in the class was not potty trained yet and so he was the only one left in the class, while all of his friends moved to the next class. My sons social skills were higher than the babies that were put in his class and his teachers told me he would distance himself from the other children and play by himself. I volunteered multiple times, brought food in for party's, and even donated supplies for cleaning and the director nor teachers ever said thank you. Being a high school teacher myself, I couldn't believe how unappreciative they were. The director is completely rude. When I first came in, being a single mother, I had a court order. When I gave it to her she said "what's the deal with this?" I couldn't believe how disrespected I felt. At the beginning of the year I wrote checks and for three months strait they would write receipts with an incorrect last name when my name was clearly on the check. You'd think they would know their parents. After calling to ask them to fix it, I was rudely questioned why my last name wasn't the same as my sons. I have had other friends who have had negative experiences there and left. A month before school was out, I removed my son because of all the terrible things I was feeling. I put him in an in home day care where he became potty trained two weeks later and flourished. He was happy and had children his age to play with. My family attended CCP for several years. When we first started the church owned the school and it was a lovely place where my children made friends, learned preschool essentials, and were free to be children. All of the teachers seemed happy and were so loving. Then the church sold the school to a private owner and everything changed. By everything, I mean everything. We came in on a Monday and my child's classroom looked completely different. The teacher of that classroom didn't even know about that change until she got to school. The teachers that we loved were fired, but for no apparent reason and with no warning. Classrooms were changing, staff was changing, it was all a big mess. But we stuck with it, even though our child was not happy there. The new owner/director did some pretty shady stuff as far as making promises to us and teachers and then going back on them. She changed the entire atmosphere to an uninviting place. When we left, even the staff all seemed unhappy and stressed out. Our child did not learn anything from being there except how to play and paint a piece of paper. We were very unhappy there, and I do not recommend it to anyone unless you're looking to give your children more opportunities to play. read more
