The tailor assured me the fabric was hugely expensive wool. I told him I'd want to get the coat cleaned first to make sure it would look good, and he told me not to worry; he was going to take care of everything. When I asked if he was sure, he told me "Please, I'm here 30 years..." Well, when I got the coat back, looked like it had been sewn by a student, and it was just as unclean as it had been when I dropped it off. I brought it to a dry cleaner and the stains, as I suspected, could not be lifted. Also, the coat wasn't wool. The shop needs more craftsmanship and less con. I wouldn't go back there to hem a pair of Levi's, let alone trust them with anything of value.

I came to Natale Tailleur and the elderly Milanese gentleman here did his magic. He altered the coat to fit me without once compromising on the integrity of the quality of the coat. I now live in San Francisco and when I come home to visit I bring extra things just so I can have them cleaned at Brilotti! I was recently in Paris and a waiter dropped vinaigrette on a dress, I had it cleaned at 2 different cleaners in Paris, they were not able to get rid of the stain, but when I came to Montreal, I brought it straight to Brilotti and ta-dam! I showed the offers on my phone to the lady working there and she looked at me like I had two heads... she had no idea about either promotion. But she was very nice and agreed to give me 20% off. They did an excellent job and I was very happy with the cleaning. There were several difficult items with stains, a dress with a lot of pleats, and a shirt with metallic accents, all of which came back perfect. I did find them a little pricey compared to the previous place I went, so was glad to have the 20% off. Would go back again since they do a great job and is convenient for me. They also do alterations on site.
