This company is extremely unprofessional. We told them from the start that our stove and oven were shocking us when touched, and instead of taking it seriously, they argued and insisted it "doesn't shock anybody" and that we should keep using it. They replaced the stove multiple times -- the first replacement had the same problem, and after the third stove in a month, they ended up piecing together two completely different stoves from different brands. The inside of the oven was rusted, and the whole setup looked unsafe. When contractors finally came out, they found that the real issue was a wire that needed to be grounded, but they refused to touch the stove because of how badly it was pieced together. We went an entire month without a working way to cook for our family of five. The man we dealt with was rude, dismissive, and argumentative every time we tried to explain what was happening. If you can avoid this place, do it 100%. You'll get nothing but junk, excuses, and attitude. There are much better places to spend your money read more

I was charged $75 by this pathetic company, for doing, NOTHING. The refrigerator in our rental, was having an issue. Our property manager contacted SAS Appliance but they couldn't arrive for 3 or 4 hours, so I paid our handyman to fix a minor problem. I tried calling several times to cancel the service request but only got voice mails. The technician eventually arrived and was told the fridge was already fixed. I wound up being charged $75, for a technician ringing a doorbell. As the owner of a service type business, who just retired after 40 years, I can proudly say, I never stooped to this level of desperation. If I didn't actually provide a service, performed any work, nobody was charged!! In this economy, with everyone struggling, SAS Appliance decided charging $75 was more important than customer service. read more

Reasonable prices, good deals. I bought a washer & dryer. The dryer made a loud thumping noise but the owner came out within a few days and fixed it & has been working great ever since. They also take in old appliances so you dont have to take it to the dump. read more

I have been here multiple times. Was charged 3x the price for a thermal fuse. Then they tried to overcharge me again....while asking for a fair price I was then ignored for another customer asking to purchase a washer. This place obviously doesn't care for return customers or anyone not buying a large ticket item. Definitely do not recommend this place. read more

Very bad experience from the boss. Bought my first washer and dryer for my first apartment from them the dryer worked great was just the washer that was COMPLETE GARBAGE then when we talked to them about the washer not working they tried to fix but idk why it wasn't fixable but THE BOSS insisted it get fixed but it wouldn't work long story short he tried to stick us with garbage and told us he wasn't picking up the Garbage Washer that we had to take it back and pick our other one up the boss is rude and when we tried to talk to him he'd take off knowing we were on our way to Talk to him THE BOSS is very rude but the employees tried helping us thru it all they are very great and helpful wish I could give more stars but besides the employees being awesome THE BOSS gave us a bad experience I'm sure he hoped we wouldn't return his garbage before the 90 days ran out he made us struggle so much but we finally returned it still waiting on the "new" washer. I tried buying locally and this is what happened unfortunately UPDATE: He is still yet to give us another washer but if you watch the video of the washer you can see it makes clanking sounds and wobbles around he still insists it is good! UPDATE: ..... After about a week we got store credit hoping it will be honored but still leaving it as one star because of how the situation was handled. read more

Dryer went out... Had gotten a new dryer and our old repairman recommended this place. I called and they came the NEXT day! They had to order a brand new part, but let me use an old part in the meantime to catch up on laundry!! The guy who came didn't speak English very well, so his boss called to explain everything... very nice people, decent price too I would say (no expert). The ONLY thing to note was that the guy who came wasn't wearing a mask... not a super huge problem and I didn't let it effect my review since our laundry has is it's own separate room but some people might not be comfortable letting someone into their home without a mask! Despite that, i'll definitely use these guys again read more

I can't belive this company charges $140, for service call. I was never told that on the phone. My bottom drawer of my fridge was off alignment and took fifteen minutes. The technician says it's his knowledge that I'm paying for. Therefore I only paid him $100, for adjusting my drawer. I'm a senior citizen and feel this is outrageous. Everyone continues being overcharged. Don't hire anyone that doesn't give you a service price first. Shame one you. read more

I was in need of a belt for my dryer. The person working didn't seem to have any knowledge . He kept having to text someone. Tried selling me a belt saying they are all generic. I didn't feel comfortable dealing with someone with very little knowledge. I left went to Lowe's the young man there asked me three questions . Knew exactly which belt I needed. Plus it was 8.00 compared to 20.00 that the other guy wanted to charge me. read more

Beware of SAS Appliances. Although they are located in the same building and address as the very reputable Ike's, they are not the same caliber of company. I purchased a used refrigerator for my college student daughter. We paid $225 cash, and felt satisfied with the quality of the used fridge. The next day when my husband and I arrived to pick it up, the salesman announced to me that the one I had purchased actually didn't work. He claims to have plugged it in and then discarded the refrigerator. He offered us a replacement (dirty, dented, scratched, and worth about $50 at a yard sale). When my husband demanded a refund, the salesman refused. We told him we deserved a refund because the item we purchased no longer exists or was thrown out. He said no, We immediately went to our attorney, she called the business and promised small claims court and attorney fees if the refund wasn't given immediately. She equated their actions with a "Bait and Switch." It was a con from the beginning, in her legal opinion. Sadly, when we went to get the refund, the salesman on duty was rude to top it off. Use Craigslist, or the Lowe's clearance inventory. Avoid this business at all costs. read more
