I asked Sasha for help photographing a yoga event we had for our company. The event was very unique because it was on a cruise ship and had half the participants doing yoga, while the other half enjoyed the view both indoors and outdoors. This seemed like it would be very challenging, but Sasha and her team were able to tackle the challenge amazingly. We had a ton of amazing shots that we fell in love with and the most difficult part was narrowing down our selection. From start to finish, Sasha was able to take care of our group and ensure that our photos were great, but our overall experience was just as good. We just did our engagement photo shoot with Sasha, and we are so happy with the entire process and the results!! Sasha was flexible about rescheduling the shoot due to rainy weather. She arrived early to the shoot, and instantly made us feel at ease about it, teaching us some useful poses (we really needed help with posing!). Since shopping for an engagement/wedding photographer is a one-time experience, it can be hard to know what to look for. But when I came across Sasha online, I had a strong feeling that she would deliver what we wanted, even if we couldn't yet articulate exactly what that was. We began our shoot near Washington Square Park and continued to the surrounding area. It was very humid and drizzly, but miraculously that wasn't conveyed through the photos! I hired Sasha to photograph my (surprise) proposal and, 1.5 years later, our civil wedding ceremony. We were very happy with both shoots. Sasha's colleague Vincent handled the proposal shoot and was very accommodating in dealing with some challenging logistics and a spy movie like setup (meeting up in the men's bathroom before he sprinted out with a telephoto lens for some covert shots of my soon-to-be-fiancee and me).
