Very disappointed with my experience. I found a piece I loved online and went into the store…read moreexpecting to purchase it at the listed price. I was told they would not honor the advertised price because it was supposedly a misposting and that a third party manages their online listings and photos. As a customer, that explanation was frustrating. Businesses should be responsible for ensuring their advertised pricing is accurate. It felt misleading and left me disappointed with the overall experience. Because of this experience, I will no longer shop here for any furniture in the future.

I suggested we go there to look for furniture for our new home. They had a great selection of…read morebeautiful furniture and our salesman was pleasant and helpful. We were explained how the interest free payment option worked and decided on a sectional. They did not have the terms for the loan available that day, but we gave them a cash deposit of $250, with the verbal promise to come back to sign the documents and set up delivery. This was July 27th. The following day we received the loan paperwork and I didn't agree with the terms of repayment (read the fine print well) it was not the same as how it had been explained in the store. No matter which way it was explained to me, I refused to sign the document because it did not read the same. We decided to back out of the deal. I requested a refund of my money, and was told this wasn't proper protocol to give refunds of deposits but that since we didn't sign the paperwork they couldn't really hold us to anything. We were promised a refund check within two weeks. I called at around 18 days and was told by a woman in the office that the office manager shouldn't have told me two weeks because it takes as long as thirty days and that she could see through her computer system that the check had not been cut. September 12 I contact the regional office to ask about the refund. She apologized, she could see that it was due but they had not received the paper work from Long Beach to issue it. September 18 I contact them again to follow up. The lady is so nice but she says that they were able to get everything and the check would be cut but that I have to wait for the owner to come back to the office to sign it. This could take an additional 21 days. Needless to say I am upset. Cash money given and in less than 24 hours it is now taking us more than two months to get it back. Never again.

One item that had no price tag was an aluminum bistro table that had been painted. It wasn't antique - the same one in its original color was for sale on amazon but we like to shop local. The woman named a price higher than the new one online. Uh, no thanks. Then we asked about the price of a piece of art hanging in the main room, and she said it wasn't for sale. It was almost as if she didn't really want people to buy anything. We love antique shops and we live nearby but we won't be going back. Two stars instead of one because there is so much to see inside, but maybe that's because she doesn't actually want to sell anything?

This could have been a great stop... Driving through the scenic route from the Pass to Picayune…read morearound noon on Sunday and decided to stop. I'm a frequenter of any antique shop, thrift shop, etc where you can find forgotten treasures. Just love soaking up all the nostalgia, character & history. Having recently purchased a turn of the century vanity for my bedroom, I spotted an interesting painted glass dish to adorn atop it. The lady there (whom I learned was the owner only by way of overhearing her introduction to another patron) briskly spoke of it and scurried on about her other matters she needed to tend to. The price was clearly marked on the piece, which was nice as I was not necessarily in the mood for haggling. It was about 5" in diameter and labeled as a ruffled edge Fenton glass. One of the remarks she made to me was in surprise that the piece was priced so well. She seemed taken aback at the $18 tag. I was comfortable with the pricing and she tucked it away while I finished looking. There were many other pieces I was particularly interested in, but after waiting nearly 15 minutes for her to cater to the same customer (whom also purchased a piece at a similar price point) I then watched the owner walk past me without regard while she took her lunch to the back and decided to phone a friend to discuss her medical issues. As I navigated the tightly cluttered crannies to track her down so that I may pay for the single piece she did in fact have time to discuss, I was eventually graced with her presence. Not only did she continue her conversation on the telephone with her friend, she had the audacity to ask for me to pay $20 instead of the $18 clearly marked on the piece. Dumbfounded at all that had transpired in the 30 minutes since I stopped, I handed her a $20 and bid her good day. Of all the dozens of antique resalers to stop in and around the MS Gulf Coast, this one may have that particular piece you are in search of, just don't expect your visit to be completed with even an ounce of Mississippi hospitality.
