I came here over the weekend with one of my friends for the corn maze. There's tons of fun activities for kids (or adults who are young at heart): hay rides, cornhole, face painting, skee-ball, and so much more! The food was typical faire/New England farm food-- hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, apple cider donuts, and kettlecorn. They also had coffee, hot apple cider, and soft drinks. The staff seemed kind of stressed out, which is understandable given that we went on a busy Saturday afternoon, but I do wish they had been a little friendlier. My friend and I arrived at 1:30pm and it was pretty crowded, so my advice would be to go earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon. We purchased our tickets online a couple days before, and I noticed that shortly after tickets were sold out for the weekend, so purchasing tickets online in advance is a must. read more

Had a great time doing the corn maze here; you can take a map, which is only kinda helpful because if you dont know where you are to begin with....but we figured it out! I wish the map had pointed out where the extra game clues were (the monster hiding thing). I also wish they did a better job maintaining the maze as people clearly made their own paths, which got us extra lost a few times when I tried to refer to the map. Overall it was fun though. We paid extra to do the apple shooting which was more fun than expected, even though I hit nothing (due to my cannon having a hook to it, not user error....) I did not try the donuts, but they looked great and were devoured by my group. read more

Wow! I was thoroughly impressed with this place. It's $15 per adult and kids are free and there is a lot to do for all ages. We have a toddler, and spent time on the bouncy thing, the playground and then a bee ride around the farm. They also had a corn kernel pit, similar to a ball pit that was great for little ones. They had 2 different sizes in the event you have really young kids. They had carnival games, like skeeball and a few other things that were fun. Also so games for older kids/adults. You can buy all sort of snacks, popcorn, etc., similar to a fair, and then of course doughnuts, etc. The Corn maze itself is no joke. I thought we were going to just wonder around and then eventually make our way out. Not what happened! We got pretty lost and had to pay attention to the map, and did eventually make our way out. So much fun, definitely get there early as it got crowded! read more

What an amazing place!!! From the second we pulled into the parking lot, all the employees were so nice. Every single employee we interacted with spoke to the children were super polite. These kids are young kids and they treated all guests so amazing. The place is super clean, even the porta potties. There was more a to items than we could do, it was never ending fun for my almost 2 year old twins and my 3 nephews ranging from 4-10. I have been to many places like this over the years and this is the absolute best. Thank you for such a fun day. We will definitely be back. read more

This is the place to go, especially with kids! I went during pumpkin season. I was all done with C.N. Smith Farm and their negativity and over-priced everything. It was a flat fee of just under $15 each to get in, free parking too. And once you're in, almost everything is included! These big pillow bouncers--way better than a moon bounce! These tractors that pull a train of carts and they zip around, a bit bumpy, but so fun! A corn sensory bin, playground area for under age 6, hayride to pumpkin patch, bag toss, zip line, these roller things and so much more. The only things we found that were extra was face painting, a shooting area that was like a safer version of paint ball and the Apple/pumpkin cannons. We did the cannons and it was cool. The pumpkins were 59 cents a pound. I got 2 small ones for 4 something. They have grills going with burgers, hot dogs, fries. Also fried dough and kettle corn. They take credit cards (except face paint). And best of all, the staff is SO nice! They have local teens and people managing everything and keeping things organized and clean, even a kid just assigned to keep wiping down picnic tables. They really have an attention to detail. Even though a lot of people are there the lines move pretty quick, and obviously if you get there earlier the better. I'll be back next spring for strawberries for sure!!! read more

Ok, so first thing, it's a little confusing, but there are multiple locations of Sauchuk Farms and they're all different! The address Yelp has is basically a huge farm stand. The pumpkin patch and corn maze Sauchuk is at 200 Central Street in Plympton! I went there last weekend to enjoy the fall festivities, and managed to read enough of the website to not get myself lost. Admission was reasonable at about $12 per adult, and on first glance, the huge line out front made me want to turn back and save myself the hassle. Luckily I didn't, as there's actually a lot of fun to be had inside, and plenty of space for all, so even though you might have to stand in the occasional line to get in, or to shoot tiny pumpkins out of some kind of giant gun (seriously, they have this) , you won't feel like you're standing in line or next to other people all day long. And yes, there's enough for a whole day of fun! The corn maze is much more fun that I thought it would be, especially if you get a little lost and take a few minutes to ponder the beauty and the miracle of corn. Call me a dirty hippie, but corn is beautiful and when you see it in it's natural state on the stalk, a wonder of nature. Much more miraculous than when you find it half shucked at Shaw's. There are a few fun little rides that involve tractors, the giant guns that shoot produce that I mentioned, and a huge jumpy thing. Apple cider donuts, kettle corn, and chicken nuggets are available to those who need empty calories to survive such an adventure. I had a good enough time to plan to return annually, and I encourage the Yelping public to make the trek out before the fun ends this season. Plympton is kinda far for those who live in civilization, but it's worth it! read more

Love this little farm! Last year we did the corn maze and pumpkin picking and all that and the kids loved it. Yesterday I stopped over at the little store and grabbed some fresh apple cider donuts which were amazing! I also got some fresh peppers and cucumbers very cheap. The best steal was a dozen fresh eggs for $1.99! I want to try some of the homemade jams soon, cause they sound delicious! read more

This place is incredible. An *enormous* cornfield maze with clues and a prize at the end, hayrides, pumpkin picking, pedal carts, a trampoline bouncy thing, a "corn box" (as opposed to a sand box), a corn cannon, water games, apple cider donuts, fried dough, and kettle corn. It's like Autumn itself is wrapped up in all these fun activities for just $11, and handed to you with a pretty bow. This review is for the corn maze and fall attractions at Sauchuk Farm. I visited this past weekend with an 11 year-old I mentor through the Big Sister program and we both had a great time! I was impressed by the number of activities available--in addition to the corn maze, there are pedal carts, a big bouncy thing to jump on (one for little kids and one for big kids + adults), ball toss games (shooting balls through hoops, etc.), face painting, tractor rides, a pumpkin patch, and all sorts of other small games and activities. I thought the $11.95 I paid for each of us was bargain given all there was to do. There are a couple of activities that aren't included with the admission price (you pay extra), and any pumpkin(s) you pick up at the pumpkin patch are extra, obviously. I don't necessarily know that I'd come here with a group of people my own age, but it's a great place for adults to bring kids. Like I said, my 11-year-old little sis really enjoyed it, so it's not just for really little ones. Great place to spend a few hours! read more

An exceptional time Rebecca and I had at this excellent farm in Plympton. We picked strawberries for $3.00 a pound and they had such a marvelous area and an even more amazing selection for such a low price. We wound up with 5.5 pounds and it took only about 25 to 30 minutes to pick. Excellent service was offered up as well, a wonderful stop. read more

This will be our 3rd year being a member of their CSA. The price per full share is incredible for how much produce you get - when I did the math out I realized we were nearly cutting our grocery bill in half by participating. Besides that, the food is always great - perfect quality and seasonal (obviously). They are really helpful in terms of giving hints and tips for preserving food, how to use more unique vegetables, etc. Last year we did their corn maze for the first time and that was a lot of fun! We got lost, but that's the point. Their kettle corn is addicting, so share a bag with someone or you will eat the whole thing! read more

This is the most fun fall type place I have ever been! We drove out on a Saturday morning with our two year old after a coworker told my husband about it. And I am very glad we listened! From the moment we got their it was a well staffed, well organized event. I have been to many hayride-pumpkin patch places that tend to get a little crazy but this place was very well fun. Price was $15 each and kiddo was free. Entry let us do all they had to offer, no extra tickets needed for anything. They had an area geared towards toddler with a bouncy thing, a slide, a corn pit that was a huge hit. We spent a good hour, hour and a half there. We did the hayride, the maze, and the bumble bee ride. Had lunch from the food truck (was just ok) and left before the crowds came around 2ish. We are considering going back as there was still more to do! Highly recommend this place. read more

We went to the Corn Maze and pumpkin patch and had so much fun! It's a little expensive especially if you have a lot of people but I think it's worth it. The staff was all nice, especially the guys doing the cow and bee train. The corn maze was fun and they had a great variety of pumpkins. It was definitely packed with people but the lines seem to move quick. Lots for kids to do and plenty of space of roam. My only suggestion would be permanent bathrooms! This will be my third year as a Sauchuk CSA'r and I have to say it's one of the best decisions my wife and I have made. Dollar for dollar this particular CSA is a better value than the other CSA's in the area. The staff is so friendly, they make us feel like family. As if the stellar produce and great staff weren't enough reason to check them out, their stellar apple cider donuts will blow you away. We've been members of this CSA for 2 years now and are looking forward to the first pick-up of season 3. It's one of the highlights of our weekend. The kids enjoy picking out and bagging the veggies, and sometimes we're lucky enough to go feed the goats. The variety is great and the quality is even better. We've been delighted with our experience - it seems like our share money goes a long way - most weeks we get more, often much more, than our money's worth. The vegetables and fruits are the freshest and best quality. The variety is very good, and it's great to be eating with the seasons. We also appreciate the "extras" in our share - plants, popcorn, jam, maple syrup. It seemed a little odd at first to be driving 25 minutes to pick up our share, but it is well worth it, and has become a part of the seasonal routine. We are beginning our second year as members of Sauchuk CSA. I had to really push my husband to agree to this last year, and after the quality, variety, and quantity of produce we saw last year, he agrees it was one of the best decisions we ever made. We have 3 growing boys, and they loved to come with me to pick up our share every week. We tried (and loved) new vegetables with Sauchuk's CSA, and every Thursday (our pick up day) was "from the garden" night for dinner. Visited for the corn maze and other activities hat they offered with admission. Came with a couple cousins and my baby niece for a quintessential day of fall activities! It was a very warm day in the middle of October, so it got pretty hot and sunny but we preferred that over rain of course. The corn maze was huge but we figured it out in 15 minutes. There were two parts to the maze and we only did "phase 1" which is what we finished in 15 minutes. After that we took some photos on the humongous oversized rocking chair, played some corn hole, and then took the hayride to the pumpkin patch where were each picked out our own pumpkin right off the vines. There were also many other activities too that are kid friendly! The prices there were fair. Bottled water was $1.50 vs double that at other events. Large lemonade was $4. Large bag of kettle corn was $8, small for $5. The kettle corn was fresh and warm and soooo delicious. There was also pizza, burgers, chicken tenders, fried dough, and of course apple cider donuts. The pick your own pumpkins coated 55cents per pound. read more

My four year son and I went to their corn maze today. The price was reasonable, seeing as it included the maze, cow train, jump pillow, hay ride, and some little activities. Also, they has the cleanest portable to jets I have ever seen. The staff was also really friendly. While there were many people there, it wasn't a mad house since were a variety of things to do. The farm had so much going for it! With two little ones we were very excited to go but once we arrived the teenage staff RUINED our experience. We were told there was no time frame to enter the maze so we did other things and left that till the end. We had about 35 minutes before the close time but were turned away. I insisted that we could go thru fast...they have to make a final run anyway. The teen staff member (clearly annoyed) very briskly walked us through the maze, all while on her phone and never once tried to smile or make it pleasant. We were done in about 15 minutes. Then we tried the pumpkin launcher where we inconvenienced the teen staff because they had to turn the generator back on. It was about 20 minutes to close. We ended up back at the jumping/bouncy thing trying to leave on a good note. I will say the older man who did the cow ride was phenomenal! Loved him! We went September 24, 2017. read more

I've been going to Sauchuk Farm for the past several years and it gets better and better each year! It is obvious Scott takes great pride in his farm. Come summertime, I anxiously await my weekly visit to Sauchuk, and leave with bags loaded full of delicious sweet corn, tomatoes, cukes, peppers, zucchini and blueberries, just to name a few! Come fall, we look forward to the fresh cider donuts, corn maze (we can see it from our backyard) and wonderful apples and pumpkins. I have been a CSA member since the beginning and cannot imagine purchasing my fruits and vegetables from any other source! Through the CSA I have had the opportunity to try new vegetables and have ended up loving every single one of them! I have learned to can, freeze and put up veggies and fruit from the bounty of the summer season, so that I can enjoy it all winter long! What a treat! You must go here and check out their stock! We visited both the corn maze and the farm stand over the Columbus Day weekend. The farm stand is nice, we didn't purchase anything but the prices seemed fair. The corn maze and other attractions were fun. My only complaint was that there were so many people there this particular day! The lines were outrageous for everything. I don't think that they are prepared to handle the amount of people that visited that day. They ran out of apple cider donuts and lemonade. :( I was told if you visit before the Columbus Day weekend it's much better. I will definitely be back next year! For the $12 admission price, it's worth it. read more
