I contracted Covid in late September 2024 the doctor diagnosed me but did not include a chest xray to see it I got pneumonia. After 20 visits to this practice I was still not getting better, ended up with edema, CDIFF, lung infection, heart issues, and kidney dysfunction. Every visit included bp check, weight, and temperature and she takes notes and sends you for tests but never discusses the results, you need to Google it is what I was told. The care I was given could have cost me my life. I did seek specialists & they all agreed I did not get proper care. Check their credentials and if you get blood work done make sure your insurance covers it. They also overcharged me but I was refunded by Medicare it was completely covered. I thought I had a problem with billing but I could never get appointments timely, answers to my questions or about the medicines I was taking, could not sleep and could not get sleep medications when I needed them. Every aspect of my care was questionable. I found another doctor and was treated properly, discussions and actions were taken and I have learned so much more about what happened to me at FMFP. I was hospitalized 3 times during the course of my Covid due to the inaccurate care I received here. Gained 15 pounds of fluid and she sent me home with water pills I went to emergency room at 3 in the morning it was a life threatening experience they told me!!! Also I was never told to get a stool sample as I had severe diarrhea that turned into CDIFF and that can also kill you. God awful experience here.​​​​

I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon but got no help there because they wouldn't even see me due to what her office said about me. Dr. Adefabi had my blood drawn for tests but never sent in a prescription and now I'm 36 hours in without my medication. They're scrambling now to get it filled. What is really troubling to me is that she also had blood tests done on my cholesterol. She received that information that mine is high but she never contacted me. I saw the results in the paperwork mailed to me and had to call her office to ask what I should do. It's so unprofessional that it's amazing to me that there's an "MD" behind her name. Let me tell you my experience with Dr Danny and concierge service. I went to see Dr Danny Smith a while back about TRT and ended up getting on hormone replacement therapy which was an awesome experience as it pretty much changed my life, but what was even better he told me with the TRT his concierge services was free. At the time I didn't really listen or understand what that meant, but then one time when I went in for blood panel work I mentioned that I was having a gout flair up. Dr Smith responded by saying, oh I get those they are really painful, let me get you on a gout preventive and that was at no charge and then he noticed my blood pressure was a little high so he put me on medication and at no charge. He reminded me that with his concierge service he's my doctor and there's never an office visit charge, copay or anything. So I mentioned that I had a doctor I saw to get my anxiety medication and every time I went it was $175, Dr Danny took care of that too. Then last week I called him on his cell phone (yes he gives that out) and told him my back was hurting so bad from an old injury that I couldn't walk. Dr Danny Smith called in a prescription for prednisone that I pic up right away and it only cost me $2.59... What a life saver! This guy is like having a doctor on speed dial and best of all he really seems to care.

When I started with her I had just been to the ER for what felt like an every month occurrence. They asked who my primary care was and i didn't have one. They suggested Dr. S Mehta, owner along with her husband of Piedmont Family at Baxter. I was scheduled for a follow up with her. Little did I know my life would be forever changed. I was a total mess my first visit (well in a lot of my visits). She was professional yet comforting, sensitive yet honest. She has guided me through some of my toughest moments (physically and mentally)such as dealing with my chronic pain in the healthiest ways, having an infectious disease, irrational fears, panic, depression due to divorce and illness, through new diagnosis, new treatment plans and so on-- when I wanted to give up or felt like there was no end in sight she fought for me when inside I felt I couldn't fight for myself. She will tell you, I did all of the work and that I deserve all of the credit..but I disagree, her guidance was an essential part of why I am where I am today. Yes, I listened to everything she said, I trusted her, I did the work as she suggested, and bc of that I grew stronger, healthier, and have successfully fought my way to a better me, BUT, without her guidance, who knows what path I'd be on.
