From the first meeting I was impressed with Wilson's thoughtful approach, which was clearly driven by a strong mix of market data and years of industry experience. They far surpassed my expectations, and I would highly recommend Wilson and his team to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Bay Area. Also a big shoutout to Priscilla and Michele, who helped throughout the process and were amazing as well!

We interviewed three realtors and we selected Wilson because we agreed with his vision as to how to prepare our home for sale and his assessment of current market conditions. We were very pleased with the decision as we found out that Wilson has a strong team to support the preparation and sales process. A project plan was developed months in advance and for the most part all deadlines were achieved. Luis (contractor) and Priscilia (coordinator) prepared the house for sale on time and on budget. The staging firm did a great job in presenting our home. When necessary Wilson was alway available to answer our questions. The Open Houses took place as we planned months in advance and we were given an update at the end of each weekend. When offers came in Wilson and Cathy (Experttcs) helped us navigate through the negotiation process until we accepted a bid that met our target. We were then introduced to Michele (Director of Ops) and Aldolfo (escrow officer of WFG Title Co.) to guide us through the closing process. Their assistance made the paperwork burden as painless as possible. We were happy with the entire process and impressed with how the Own Team worked together to get the job done. We deducted a 1/2 star because the lateral sewer work mandated by the city was delayed for weeks because the plumber that OWN uses was not available. This caused a delay in closing. My recommendation to OWN is to expand the list of plumbers the company can use. Also, we were assigned an original coordinator with whom we did all the pre-planning. However, when execution time arrived we discovered she left the company. Thankfully Priscilia stepped in and everything worked out fine.

I had began this process for my parents who live in the Bay Area while I currently live in Chicago. It started with an online search of companies that purchase homes "As Is" in the Bay Area and they came up in the search along with quite a few others. i chose to call them first and from the beginning, their employees were great at fielding questions and pleasant to schedule the next steps with. I was able to schedule the visit before I made it to the Bay Area to assist my parents. I originally thought it was going to be one person that would be assessing the property and running the initial visit but it actually turned out to be the two brothers themselves that showed up to my parents house. They were incredibly open, accepting, and easy to work with. They took the time to ask about what my parents were looking for and explained how the process would go should we decide to sell "as is" to them and their company. The entire process was very smooth and we felt confident in working with them from the beginning. They didn't pressure my parents or myself into making a decision that day, which felt good. They had great follow up through the selling and moving process. Each person on their team that we worked with was very helpful! We did end up meeting with two other companies that run similar programs prior to making our decision and we are very satisfied that we chose to sell and work with Brothers Buy Homes. Home selling can be a stressful process and we all feel relieved that working with this company turned out to be the least stressful part of the moving process. Definitely give them a call and see for yourself

My realtor, title company, and mortgage broker all complained to me about Ryan's lack of response, and the difficulty they had communicating with him. My first issue with Ryan arose early on when my agent and I showed up to meet with the building inspector for the standard contractor's report on the property - only to find the electricity turned off - and the breaker box locked. Thankfully my inspector was very resourceful and was able to get into the box, but had he not been able I would have been charged for his time and either an incomplete report, or pay him again to come back to finish the inspection. And that's how it started.... I'll spare you the rest of the details and incidents where I felt I was treated rudely and unprofessionally by Ryan Charlton and how the sale was delayed due to Ryan's apparent lack of attention for detail. Long story short, I would not work with Ryan again. Period. I'd ask for another agent or walk away. Turns my stomach to think he got paid (and well paid at that!) to behave that way.

Unfortunately, having Amy Kong sell our house this time around was not positive. She did notice that we made substantial improvements to the house by turning a basement room into a full in law unit but did not list it as such , or recommend what we could do so it could be listed as a separate rentable unit. Other things that were not professional were, asking why we wanted multiple bids, asking if we would consider selling the house to her investor friends and not listing it. She was also a Dual Realtor, so she represented us the seller and the buyers as well.
