Granted, I've only rented two apts prior to this, but my current unit is easily better. Firstly, the building/unit is very well kept. It's spacious enough for 1-2 people but still cozy, the amenities (dishwasher, washer/dryer, parking) are great to have, maintenance is rarely needed but very quick, & the rent is very reasonable for what you get. There is a reason the building I'm in has been full for several years now. Additionally, the entire TEJ staff have been nothing but great. There is always a quick response to any inquiries, and everyone I've interacted with has been very kind. Unlike the big rental companies in the area I've actually met the landlord and owner, and it's nice to put a face to a name. I recently was up to renew my lease (with a small but realistically fair rent increase) and there was zero doubt in my mind about staying in my unit. I've been very happy with my experience over the last five years and highly recommend renting through them.

In August, my family and I each paid a $90 application fee (totaling $270) to apply for a rental property managed by this company. We fully complied with the application requirements and submitted all requested documentation, including pay stubs, employer contact information, and identity verification through the third-party platform we were instructed to use. Despite this, our application was denied based on claims of "unverifiable income" and "unverifiable identity." These determinations did not reflect the documentation we provided. When these discrepancies were raised, no meaningful effort was made to verify, clarify, or correct the information. What followed was a prolonged and exhausting process in which responsibility was repeatedly passed between Mark Mann, the listing agent, and the third-party application service. Although the listing agent facilitated the showing and served as the initial point of contact, no assistance was offered once issues arose. Communication from Mr. Mann felt dismissive at times, and it required months of follow-up simply to receive basic responses.Even after extensive effort, there was no acknowledgment of the time, stress, or persistence required just to be taken seriously. The only resolution eventually offered was a refund conditioned on agreeing not to raise the issue further. In my opinion, this did not address the underlying problems with the application process or reflect a fair or transparent approach. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about how rental applications are handled and whether applicants are given equal and fair consideration when errors are identified. At minimum, this process left me questioning whether sufficient safeguards exist to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability when collecting application fees. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion. I strongly encourage others to proceed with caution, ask detailed questions upfront, and carefully document all communications when dealing with Realty Consultants Property Management or Mark Mann.

We rented at Clemmons Trace Village when we first moved down from NY TO NC. They were so nice and…read morehelpful with a very stressful situation, finding a place sight unseen in a whole new area. Their prices are very reasonable for the size of the townhouses- they are all 2 bedroom townhouse floor plan. We didn't have many maintenance issues and we moved into a clean, fresh space. They have a pool and a small playground and there is plenty of area to walk around. There is a very small gym and shared laundry facilities but you also have the hookups for your own in the unit. The townhouses are outdated in their style and the kitchen is rather small, but functional. Everything worked as you would hope. You get a small patio area as well which was nice to have. Our one issue was ongoing invasion of earwigs- they offer pest control and we did our own spraying but we persistently had earwigs in the downstairs. But for the affordability compared to other rentals in the area, it was a manageable issue. We really enjoyed our time here, they're well located with easy access to lots of stores and well rated schools. I'd highly recommend giving them a chance!
