I made an appointment with Angel, figuring he'd take care of me. I wasn't wrong. From the moment I entered the parlor, I was greeted with a smile and spoken to with respect - valued as a customer. Angel took lots of care asking questions and ensuring I was pleased every step of the way. Looking around, you could also see all the customers also quite satisfied with the service provided. The hair products used were also of high quality. Once you step inside, you will instantly feel important to them. read more

Sauvage Barber Parlor - Outstanding Performance - Barbers Near Me - South Elgin, Illinois

This is a very good barber shop. They gave me a good beard trim and haircut. It has a great vibe. They have good employees.

Went in yesterday for a straight razor old-time cut, shaved head, and beard lineup, still awesome! love the new location, the same great people working there, sadly the price has gone up after covid, but what hasn't? Definitely would still recommend and will be going back soon. read more

Well I didn't think spending 65 dollars for a haircut would result in my worst haircut ever, unfortunately that was the case. I've had a better haircut from Supercuts when I was 16. This place is all show and gimmick. If your barbers can't follow basic instructions on a fade, thank goodness I didn't get a shave. Talk about fear for your life. Poor execution and overpriced = gimmick. Good luck as very gimmick runs it's course. read more

Still looking for a better match of my expectations and experience. Warm welcome both phone and entry by Kris. Had haircut appt with Avril. We communicated about what I wanted. A scissor cut no thinning shears. That and any conversation nearly impossible due to loud music on boom box next to chair. Salon was busy. Nearly every chair occupied. Clearly youthful with design cuts a specialty. Next....???? read more

Walked in around 6, they took us in and Nelly cut my son's hair, awesome job, he is super happy!!

Please be aware that some of this people are not skilled and they will not tell you. My son showed Nelly a picture of what he wanted. He had grown his hair to achieve this look. She completely shopped off all of his hair. Gave him a almost military look when he was looking for a mid length haircut. Took 2+ hours and didn't admit to wrongdoing or had any apologies. My son was so upset that started to have a nose bleed and it took another person from the barbershop to get him tissues. Kris the manager stepped in to tell me that yes, it's not the same haircut that He wanted but he was going to walk away with a good haircut. He did not!!! They massacred his hair and completely destroyed his look. My son was embarrassed to go back to school looking like this. Kris did offered us a Free haircut, but that didn't begin to fix the problem!!! My son was left with a horrible haircut. H wanted a long fringe with low shade on the sides and he got a military haircut. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my hair cut by a grown man child named Dewy but should have been named do-do! This is the worst barber I have ever been too. I was in the Marine Corps. And got better hair cuts in boot camp leaving there with patches and blood running down my head. I came out of there looking like that goofy ass from the movie Sling Blade!rdd Eagan cub read more

This is a fantastic new spot with seasoned barbers. I just got a haircut from Abe and he did a great job. He took his time and helped me figure out what type of haircut would look best on me and work with my cowlick. The vibe of the place is very industrial with class. There is some neat decor and lots of space. I highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the area. read more

Let me start out by saying how amazing everyone is at this establishment. My boys and husband are particularly picky and it took us awhile to find someone they all loved . Chris is our guy . He does amazing and takes his time with designs on my boys . When going to this business we all feel like we are going to hang out with friends and not a chore . Thank you for being the best. As an owner of an establishment I can tell you they take pride in what they do. read more

This is the barber parlor where my husband goes (6 trips so far since it opened)- and they do an amazing job! He has seen Abe everytime, and I am continually impressed by his work and their service. My husband has a full beard, and this is the first place he has been where I am 100% pleased with how it looks when they are done. This place feels luxurious but is very reasonably priced. The space itself is awesome, feels open and homey at the same time. I love that the area right along Route 20 is really building up, and I think this is a great addition. I would highly recommend this barber! read more

I took my high school son here. Manny was awesome - he listened to what my son wanted and offered stylish suggestions and did a great job! It's a luxury barber at great prices! You won't pay much more here than you would at a chain, but the quality is above and beyond! The barbers aren't just here to simply cut hair, this is their craft, their art, and they genuinely take their time to do a great job! No Supercuts disasters here! Everyone was really friendly and professional! I was surprised at how many chairs they had going at one time! A clean, classy, hip and trendy place with metro, masculine energy! Absolutely recommended!!! read more

This was my 2nd time taking my son to this shop. My grandson is mixed with black and Mexican so it was important to find someone to understand his hair texture. WE had the pleasure of Zay being our barber this time. He has become our permanent guy. My grandson is 6 and when i tell you he was cheesing so hard in the mirror when his cut was done.lol Zay explained to us the best way to keep his cut looking clean until his next visit. He took us through the different steps as he cut. Check out pics of his pass work under his profile on their appointment page. I never thought I would be paying $30 for a 6 year old to get a haircut. But the difference between a $12 haircut and $30 is clearly noticeable. read more

Been going to angel for cuts for a while and my kids as well. The barbershop is super clean and and beautiful inside and everyone greets you. Everyone is well dressed and every cut is on point. After years of bad haircuts at haircut chains, I finally went to legit barbershop and will never look back. This place was great from top to bottom. I had Fernando cut my hair and he didn't rush it. He did a great job and offered feedback when I requested it. I'm not someone who knows anything about hair, but he did more than I asked for. The skill and effort was very appreciated after being butchered at other places. I don't know how good the others are, but I would recommend giving the place a chance. Its clear they are passionate about what they do. read more

Best barbershop around ! A friend recommended this place over a year ago and now I'm a regular customer. Angel is my guy and he does a great job ! Would highly recommend to check this place out ! read more

I've been goin there for about a year to get my haircut from David Every week. I went last week & he straight up butchered my hair up. He was to busy bullshittin with Tony who is next to him. Tony I'm sorry for bringin your name up in this. Your a great barber. David needs to pay attention to what he's doin. It's obvious he can't. He's worried about getting into other people's conversations then gets side tracked. He was cutting & clipping away doing what he wanted. The haircut I got from him was TERRIBLE. So I texted him to let him know how bad of a job he did. He didn't like what I had to say about what he did to my head. It's gonna take 2-3 weeks for my hair to grow back to normal. So David told the owner Angel (his buddy) about what I said. Angel contacted me telling me to find a new barber & not to come back there. I was a weekly customer tipping very well & got shit on by the owner Angel & David. There not about customer service that's for sure read more

Sauvage is modern and clean! Angel has been cutting my oldest son's hair for years and now my little guy as well. When he opened his own shop, it is clear that he put a lot of thought and effort into every detail. The ship is spacious, clean, modern and the people there are friendly. It definitely helps to book ahead as they are extremely busy, which goes to show you that the service provided is top notch!! I drive 30 minutes each way so that Angel continues to cut my boy's hair because no one else has even come close to the excellent job he does. One top of a great cut, he is kind, patient and wonderful with kids!! read more
