After graduating, I secured a new grad position, but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't continue in that role. As many know, leaving a new grad position can make finding another job very challenging. Celeste was incredibly supportive during that difficult time. She not only helped me navigate the job search process, but also guided me on how to improve my interview skills and build my confidence. With her help, I was able to secure 4 interviews and ultimately land a new position with better pay than my previous role. I'm truly grateful for her dedication and support she made a real difference in my career journey. Thank you, Celeste

Professors who don't even make PowerPoints and just tell us to read the book, tests who aren't even made by them and get mad when the class doesn't do well. A lot of students feel they're just being money hungry encouraging failure so they can get more money. That not the west coast I was told before applying. This school has potential, but the way it is currently, I recommend people interested in nursing to look somewhere else.

What's worse, dosage is only taught for a single day, yet students must score a perfect 100% on the dosage exam to advance. After that, we're left to study alone. While accuracy is vital in nursing, this policy is unrealistic and sets students up for failure. I've reached out multiple times about my efforts, only to hear the same response, while more money is pulled from my family for a class I already know. Students have failed Core 5 by fractions of a point, like 76.7% when 77% is required, with no retest or supplemental work allowed. Even a 95% on dosage is treated as failure if it isn't perfect students invest their time, energy, and passion only to be held back by technicalities. I've seen dedicated classmates in tears over narrowly missing the mark. The school must revise its Core 5 policies to reflect fairness, compassion, and educational best practices. Without change, this program will continue to lose talented future nurses to a rigid, financially damaging system.

Almost a year after graduation I finally had emails/calls returned stating that they had heard that I had gotten married and moved out of state and that they don't offer job placement. All along I still lived five minutes from the school, never found a DA job because everywhere within fifteen minutes of my residence required experience or to be bilingual. So thanks to Concorde I've never been able to get an apartment in my name since 2013 because I have bad credit due to owing 11grand in loans that I never signed up for. Almost a year after graduating, I had received a bill for eleven grand in student loans which I shouldn't have due to at time of sign up with register-I had only signed up for grants due to being a single mom with no income. At sign up, The registrar had told me if I signed up for all the grants available, that my schooling would be completely paid for. While being in the program, registrars were made to carry wallow talkie recording type devises because they were caught lying so much to potential new students on tours like they did to my class of girls. But those of us that got screwed by registrars and were already in the program, never got any help, remorse, apology, money back, nothing. The registrars also wouldn't let us sign up for dental hygiene program unless we did the DA program first.

It was time to get a library card that was mine! Was time to stop borrowing friend's cards. Why pay for books or buy books when your taxes, as a homeowner, offer you free book rentals! AMAZING!! I love to be read too and you can read a variety of books for free! The best bang for your buck! Really happy I discovered reading books again. Not sure why I ever slowed down. Collin County College is awesome! Simply need to go in person to apply for the card. It's so simple! It gives you access to ALL libraries in Collin county and the State of Texas. Everyone should have a library card! I wish more people would be interested in being part of a library. It's so cool to have access to knowledge. Be extraordinary and join any library across the country! The only draw back is they don't have audiobooks. Suppose students don't have time to read anything but text books! If you return the book late you will be charged late fees. Only fair. There are rules you have to follow. Others are waiting for that book: Be kind and return on time. July 2024

For example, they could offer vocational or technical programs. Most regionally accredited schools are non-profit, with academics as the primary focus. If you decide to attend a nationally accredited school, remember this: In some cases, regionally accredited schools will not accept transfer credits from a nationally accredited school. This is because of academic standards and differing courses of study." "If you want to attend a professional or specialized college, choosing an accredited program is very important for licensing purposes. Attending an unaccredited college could prevent you from taking the necessary steps for professional US licensure. In some fields, you need a license before you can legally practice your profession in the US. Choosing an accredited school can be crucial!
