I kindly declined, paid for the other products I already had picked out, and politely let him know I won't be back. This program allows them to not properly care for the plants they carry. It also allows them to avoid educating their staff in regards to proper care. The staff at the Mustard Seed prove that you get what you pay for. While some of the younger staff may not have the answers, they are willing to find someone who can. The staff is welcoming and go out of their way to help to the best of their ability. I have been coming here for years for annuals, veggies and perennials. It's incredibly rare that I have an experience that left me feeling dissatisfied (no one is perfect). The one thing that stands out at this garden center is that they do their very best to find specific plants just for you. I love this place. I appreciate the help from the staff and the education I receive when I ask for help.

My dealings with them have always been fair, honest, and they carry good quality products. Unlike your usual head shop, I don't feel like I'm overpaying here even when compared to online prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's usually a couple folks working so you never wait long. I've dealt with several different staff members (and the owner/manager I think?) over the years and they always know their stuff and can give quality recommendations. I think this place deserves a much better rating than it currently has, it's the best this side of the river.
